Now if you're going to try and track down any Scandi AOR from the 80's/90's then this has to be it. Forget your Stormwing etc, this is top-class keyboard-driven AOR with no hint of a filler among the 7 tracks. The packaging is very poor, and the sounds isn't too great, but the music shines through and if you love Skagarack, Alien etc then this is absolutely essential. 9/10.

True... They were a little bit lighter than Skagrack. What a pity ,only 7 tracks

From: Geoff Date: December 4, 2004 at 23:18
That's a very generous review from Tim (2), but I certainly cannot agree with it. I really like one of the songs, I believe it's the second one. (It's only in my room but I'm feeling lazy today). But aside from that song I thought it was way too light, almost more 80's style pop rather than melodic rock. I guess fans of light AOR will find a few joys in this one, but for me it was one good track surrounded by 6 not-so-good. IMO not in same league as Skagarack or Alien as they were FAR 'heavier'

I'll settle the debate between Geoff and Tim(2) quite easily. Great cd and about f'n time it got up here! Has been easy to fine for years but don't expect that anymore as the reviews pile up! Anyway, it's way better than Stormwing and nearly as good as Skagarack but not as good as Alien. One of the all-timers in Scandi rock and yes, it is just a bit poppy in parts. Love it! Get at all cost!

GRANDIOSI,DAVVERO UNA BELLA SORPRESA.E'UN PIACERE SENTIRE QUESTO CD...STILE PRIMO DA VINCI MA ANCORA PIU'AOR....

This cd is amazing IMO,but nothin'to see with Skagarack or Alien(maybe last Skagarack release a little).I find these guys much more similar in some arrangments/parts to Da vinci/s.t. or Heaven but much more soft...BTW is a great and amazing pure aor(poppy yeah sometimes)of high quality.9/10!

Highly recommended Hi-tech Scandi AOR, very good for an indie release. Jojo kept springing to mind on initial spins, especially in the typically 90's keyboard sounds, aswell as a little Toto aswell . Anyways, the songs are all good, especially 'Walls Of Fear' & the excellent 'Angel Eyes'. Well worth adding to your Scandie collection if you see it.

AMAZING, WONDERFUL, FANTASTIC AOR.GREAT AND EXCELLENT PRODUCTION!!A POPPY VERSION OF DA VINCI!! I AGREE WITH Z4ROXX...SUPER MELODIES HERE!!! BUY IT

From: TIM (2) Date: November 25, 2005 at 6:21
No idea what I was thinking with the Skagarack & Alien comparitors, this is considerably lighter & more hi-tech. KEY WEST, JAN JOHANSSEN, MARTIN STENMARCK are better comparitors. To anyone that loves this CD I'd strongly recommend JAN JOHANSSEN'S "X My Heart" CD, which is brilliant & easily as good as this BIG TALK album. Go to: CDON.com

Yeah This is a very Good AOR/Melodic Rock album, similar mas a Skagarack que a otros mencionados arriba, grandes teclados muy buena voz Rosie, Angel Eyes, Moments Of Time los cortes que mas me van 8/10.

My rate here must grow and It’s near 10.”Walls of fear”,”Rosie”,”Angel eyes”,”Time of dreams” etc are great moments of pompa or of great qualità.It’s one of the rarest moments where I can appreciate a drum programming.Sincerely I don t understand why in the booklet there are 3 bands’s photos and 3 lines without a single note about Bass/drums performance here, that’s incredible!!!!

While listening, this album gives me the warmth only scandinavian rock music can give you.I don't know what do they eat up there in the north, but their sense for melody and song structure is fabolous. Big Talk remind me of lighter Da Vinci. Songs like "Wall of fear","Angel Eyes" and "Time of dreams" can easy compete with the best Da Vinci material. Shame, that there was no full-length album with the real drummer.Reunion guys? Please! 85/100

From: Zoner Date: July 26, 2008 at 13:35
These guys can't touch the quality from Guardian Angels. It's not as good as Guardian Angels, sadly.

From: KurtmanJP Date: September 17, 2008 at 12:18
Sounds like a mixture of Boulevard, Jojo, Action (Frontiers Recs) and Sassy Jones. "Rosie" and "Angel Eyes" are excellent AOR and "On The Radio" is a cool Jojo-meets-Elektradrive funk AOR song.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: September 22, 2011 at 21:58
Lovely scandi AOR band....2 major tracks in here ("Rosie" that is far the best cut of the album & "Time Of Dreams")add to those 2 "Angel Eyes" & "On The Radio"...short in lenght but long in quality...whatever happened to them this is a good release that has to be in your AOR collection ...84/100...enjoy it!!!!

I take it this isn't the Big Talk ala (ex RIO)?? shitty, cause that's the Big Talk I want to comment on, not this one, so I will, there was another album by another band called Big Talk, who were the duo of Mr. Jon Neil and Mr. Steve Rodford who made up the criminally unknown mid 80's AOR group RIO, I don't know where I got a hold of the Big Talk Mp3's I have, but it's a goddamn shame it isn't on here, and nobody has seemed to have heard it, cause I have never heard this, and I guarantee it cleans this fucker up, quick!! there is my review on Big Talk, who isn't this Big Talk, but another Big Talk! Cheers Wankers!!
