"The Edge (Heavy Cargo)" is amazing. Though the rest of the album isn't quite as good as that song, I still find it enjoyable enough. It is a pitty this is so rare and theis other albums are also very hard to get. |

Another fine example of 80's Finnish melodic hard rock with some AOR influences as well. I hear some bluesy influence of DREAM POLICE as well as some RETURN although the basic sound is closer to STAGE DOLLS. |

Nice rock/AOR album, pleasant and quite enjoyable.."Walls Come Down" is a pretty cool one,"She's Got The Groove" this one i liked it and is a fave already,"The Edge (Heavy Cargo)" is a highlight,"Whisper" & "Easy Lovin' You" are another cool numbers too,"Heat" has a very nice piano intro,"Knock On Woods" rocks and "Love Me,Baby" nicely says goodbye...Tommi's voice is good, kinda hoarsy, gives the songs an edgy side...84/100 |

Just barely was turned on to these guys, starting with this album, I noticed my step dad has 4 of their albums, but played this one for me, as with all albums anyone plays me, I'm only half tuned in, as I feel musically superior to everyone else, and have a hard time letting anyone tell me something is good and play it for me(it usually is not)but the second Walls Come Down started, at about a minute into the song, it happened, the song caught my attention, I put down what I was reading, and listened, as the song progressed, I was more and more intrigued, I fucking loved what I was hearing, though there was something it seemed missing from the song, I still could not tell you what it is, I was absolutely dumbfounded, I listened to the entire CD he burned me, I still have it in my Jeep Cd player, this was an excellent surprise, and I think I will talk myself into putting out the $$$ to buy that actual disc, completely recommended by me, NO COMPARISONS! until I have listened more. |
