| Back to the way Crue should sound !! This album rocks....Vince is in excellent form and the guitars are tight once again and Tommy is back to being a poundhound. It's like the guys remembered how to have fun again after some less than mediocre albums. This album will not disappoint Crue fans who like me were ready to call it quits after the Gen Swine album...the Crue are back get this one !! 88/100

| I have to say I'm digging this disc. After being a lifelong Crue, fan I have deeply disappointed with everything since Gen Swine. But disc rocks. The standout songs are, Down at the Whiskey, Saints of Los Angeles, The Animal in Me, and This Ain't A Love Song. The rest are all very listenable rockers and do just fine. I just hope the last track Goin Out Swinging isn't them trying to tell us something. Long Live Motley Crue.

| This is the best thing Motley has done in a long time and easily one of their best ever..pack to the gills with hooks, sleaze, attitude and dirt...The release that should put them back on top!! Vince's singing is some of the best he's ever done and the band is on fire.. 10/10...Great Stuff!!

| Well i was naive enough to get this record.Crue is my old flame so i feel 'obliged' to buy their stuff and .... well i should have known its gonna be a pile of crap.AfterGeneration and Tattoo i really was supposed to be wiser.STEADY TILT continues!! SCHEISSE! And who would have thought / surely not me / after GIRLS and DOCTOR they were able to record such shits as they have since FEELGOOD?

| Did anyone notice that the songwriters on this album really on include Sixx and Mars on some songs. This was not a collaborated effort by any means, try to find Vince or Tommy on the credits. Most of the songs are written by other songwriters check out the credits. Interesting....

| Definitely better than anything they've done in years. Could have easily been a follow up to Dr. Feelgood. Disc sounds like the musical from their autobiography The Dirt!

| Could never belive I should hear an album this good from crue in 2008. Not perfect, some of the songs arent THAT good, but this is still more than expected.

| Okay album considering they haven't done much since Dr feelgood.I wouldn't call it a must have though. If you want to hear the Crue in fine form then catch them live, If you are a true Crue fan or not they can still put on a hell of a show. Still one of the best in the business.

| The first 5 are classic crue, the rest are kinda filler. It's better than new tattoo. I did get bored with it quick though. The new whitesnake cd has made everyone else's not as good. It was surreal going to buy a cd and seeing new Crue, Dokken, Whitesnake, Whitelion and Journey. It makes me think it's 88 and not 08.

| They hit the jackpot with this one. It's about time too, New Tattoo wasn't bad, but this one rocks. Besides the title track, 'Face Down In The Dirt' is cool too. These bands have to realize when you try to sound alternative, you piss off all youre hard core fans. Look at Bon Jovi, he hasn't had a decent album since New Jersey. Nevertheless, I hope Motley keeps up the good work.

| Yeah this is a great album by the crue.. every album they have ever made is different which i respect so very much. They have not gone with the times and they are not short of holding back either. This is in your face kick ass music and no matter what, they will always be the best of my time. LEGENDS DO NOT DIE!!

| nice work by the crue.this is very strong and not modern as it seems.after many hearings i like the sound especially the guitars but i think there are no big hits in it as it should by hair metal giants motley crue.the only thing that is sure is that you can smell the sunset strip air in it.

| This is very good album imo. Good songs n no boring stuff as there was in new tattoo. Usually when over 20 years old band puts out the new cd its garbage, but Motley has done great job in this cd, they keep doing what they do best: really rockin'songs w good attitude and killer choruses yea!! Long live CRUE!

| The Crue's best album since 1989's 'Dr Feelgood', of course, but should it have taken this long?? I think that this band has wasted far too many years in between Dr Feelgood and this new album without any superclassic music at all. The best album, if I must pick any, out of the near two wasted Crue decades since Feelgood, is without a doubt Vince's stellar debut solo disc 'Exposed', but again, was a solo disc. SOLA is really good, but 19 years - man that's way too long to release a good 'follow-up' to Feelgood.

| Who would've thought the good ol' Motley boys still had it in them? Easily the best thing the band has done since "Dr. Feelgood." The sound may be heavenly, but the soul and attitude of this record is pure dirty sleaze, which is what you expect from the patron saints of debaunchery; of course, that should be obvious when you have a song called "Motherfucker of the Year" (great tune, by the way). Bottom line, this one rocks hard enough to make the devil smile and angels weep.

Obviously it lacks the "real thing" of the band but is not to blame(time changes everything)...nothing comparable with their earlier stuff??,right on guys!!! but if you are open minded and willing to accept changes in music directions then give this record a listen,otherwise,skip it...songs:"Down At The Whiskey","Welcome To The Machine","Motherfucker Of The Year" and some others will put one way or another a  in your face...84/100
