| This must be either the reissue or the japanese version. Mine only has 5 tracks. This was a perfect example of where Tommy Lee's musical direction was going as well as Nikki Sixx's 58 project. What a disappointment. The only cool track was Mick's bluesy Bittersuite. Great guitarist.

| This actually is the Japanese release. But don't worry, Reno. The last four songs are pretty worthless. The most painful part of this EP is the "spontaneous" banter between songs. The band comes across as a bunch of drunk frat boys who think they're hysterical when in fact they're just annoying. The songs didn't make it onto any major releases for a reason (they suck) and the extended mix of Hooligan's Holiday is a party you don't want to be invited to. A band that lost its way but cant' see it.

| I don't know why Vince left the band, but i can understand why he got back! Motley without vince ain't motley and this crap doesn't deserve their name on the cover.

| I´m a huge Mötley fan and I have to say that MC94 and Quaternary are just great!!! This was a new Mötley Crüe, and I love it, cause it´s heavy and John has a terrific voice.

| While I agree that the Crue isn't the Crue without Vince, Corabi is ten times the singer Vince is. Tracks 1,2,3(where John doesn't sing) and the Hooligan's remix really stink, but Corabi shines on the others. "Friends","10,000 Miles Away", and "Living in the No" are excellent melodic rock songs.If they had dropped the Motley Crue name, and recorded/toured as a new unit, the fans might've given them more of a chance; of course grunge was kickin' rock off the air at the time, so who knows?

| one of the worst releases of the crue.its easy to see that the band searches something else in their music.at least there s the song "10 000 miles away" where john corabi shows his great bluesy voice.excellent indeed.anyway this is only for collectors

| Think it's a tad unfair to label this one as 'worst' or 'stinks' and whatnot!? Back when released (mail delivery only!) this was simply an EP promoted (and elaborated on in liner notes) as an experimental EP and for 'fans' of the MC album! And that it was, while not rock (or Crue) as we knew, PlanetBoom was a massive slab of groove, BabyKills was the only 'band' effort and was dark and dirty enough to deserve its own place on the MC album, but managed some good fun lyrics fans of the original line-up could appreciate, Friends was a beautiful piano piece by Corabi and Father was Sixx 'purging' as he put it in the liner notes about some life experiences (and continued in full in SixxAM!). Japan release is even better with 10,000MilesAway another brilliant band effort and some extendeds and demos. Honestly this was never intended to be anything other than an extension of MC with broader reach and essential addition for fans of the mighty Corabi fronted Crue!

| Just listening to this again today and decided to read the comments on here, and have to say I am pretty much in agreement with Wardy. The original version of this was a mail away bonus and the Jap version was just an extension of that. To break it down, the four members all recorded a song that they felt represented them and did not fit the "Crue" style. Planet boom is one of Tommys stronger tracks, but I far prefer the version that was on the b-side to one of their singles (Afraid I think). Father was not that bad either, and far superior to the crap that made it onto the "58" album, which was obviously born out of this song. Bittersuite is a cool chilled out instrumental showing there is more to Mick than people give credit for. And Friends is 100% Beatles/Lennon in style. As for the rest, Babykills, 10,000 miles away and Living in the no are all cool, but Hypnotized is great (& featured on the b-side of Hooligans holiday). The hooligan remix I also liked. But not for everyone.
