Motley Crue has the special feature to make one album totally different to the last one. So it gives to the fans more than one choice. It´s not a good band. It´s an excellent Rock´n´roll band. Mick Mars its a very good guitar player. I´m from South América.

From: RichieRocker Date: August 12, 2002 at 21:52
I have to say that Mick Mars is one of the most underrerated guitar players of all time.

From: jason (FA - Q) Date: August 12, 2002 at 22:08
He's underrated because he's a pile of shit. Believe me, he ain't nothin' special.

From: SleazyMusic Date: September 5, 2002 at 9:39
jason.....mick mars ain't a pile of shit....he's just a real good guitar player...and he's got a real taste in blues....and his work in the Crue songs is very important....

From: purrfect kat Date: September 5, 2002 at 9:47

From: chiro Date: May 5, 2003 at 20:45
you don't need to be malmsteen to be a good muscian

From: visitor Date: August 21, 2003 at 14:22
In fact, you´re a better musician if you´re not Malmsteen. Mick Mars is great.

From: Dusty Date: August 22, 2003 at 9:27
Mick Mars is an OK player. He's not the best, but hey, he kicks ass, so who cares anyway

From: Edward Date: October 9, 2003 at 19:08
Only talking about Mick Mars? What's up with the rest of the band? Mick is not the most popular in the band. I like the way he plays the guitar, but for me Nikki Sixx is the most important of the band. He writes most of the songs. Mick Mars is old now, but he's still good at guitar playing. Enough said. Don't understimate the power of Mick Mars at the guitar. Underated? He doesn't deserve to be underated. He's fucking great, one of the best guitar players. So you talk crap, get the fuck out.

From: Dusty Date: November 17, 2003 at 5:57
he's really not one of the best, although he's a lot better now than he was back then (compair the 80s stuff with New Tattoo, he played some very good solo's on that album)Mick Mars is a great riff-machine, but his solo's were kinda simple, showing he was better with rhythm guitar (not on New Tattoo)Indeed Nikki Sixx is the real power behind the band. But you need all four of 'em to get the Crüe, without one of them it's not the real thing.

From: Edward Date: November 20, 2003 at 11:18
Well, Dusty. I think you're right! The whole band is the CRUE. Now they're just gone. Without VINCE NEIL and TOMMY LEE, they are not MOTLEY CRUE. About MICK MARS; he may not be between the best, but he's so fucking great! Did you listen his playing in the song LIVE WIRE? One of the best guitar riffs I've heard in my life!

From: Stich Date: November 26, 2003 at 6:07
This album is memorable for one song, and one song only.....fucking PRIMAL SCREAM !!! One of the best metal songs ever...EVER!!!!!! This song literally blew up a heavy glass table when I cranked it for the first time!! In my opinion their best song since 'Shout'.

From: Sahara Jack Date: March 19, 2004 at 12:37
I second what Stich said.

From: stickey Date: March 22, 2004 at 14:44
motley kicks ass...nuf said

From: Big Papa K Date: June 27, 2004 at 20:49
Interesting compilation. Two songs from all their albums, some remixed, a live tune, a couple soundtrack songs, and three new tunes. Of the five new tunes, "Angela", "Primal Scream", and "Rock And Roll Junkie" are good, but the two covers are only average. 8/10

From: Propane Date: December 2, 2004 at 23:11
This is a good mix. Individually I don't think these guys could have made it. Together they created some of the best stripped down, kick ass, juevo dragging metal there ever was.

From: Geoff Date: January 9, 2005 at 4:49
I love the new versions of 'Live wire' and 'Piece of your action' and the new songs are pretty cool - shows what a great album might have been on the cards if they'd stayed together... but either way, a great collection of essential hard rock.

From: Flaw Date: February 27, 2005 at 18:01
Perfect collection of hits and new songs! The new songs Primal Scream and Angela are great examples of Feelgood era Crue, aggressive metal that was harder than the typical hair glam fare out of L.A. More in sync with Appetite for Destruction, and thats what propelled Crue to the top! The inclusion of Feelgood songs may seem unnecessary, but these are the best of batch from that record! If you had to choose between 2 releases, Decade would get my vote in a heartbeat!

From: MIGUEL GUNS Date: April 4, 2005 at 14:29
LA MAYORIA DE SUS CLASICOS ESTAN AQUI. SUERTE AQUELLOS QUE LOS VEAN EN LA GIRA DE ESTE AÑO. YO ME TENDRE QUE QUEDAR EN CASA YA QUE NO VIENEN A ESPAÑA. CONSIGUEN TRAER A STRYPER EN SU UNICA FECHA EUROPEA Y NO PUEDEN UNA SOLA FECHA EN ESPAÑA??? EN FIN, NO LO ENTIENDO.

From: metalalways Date: November 24, 2005 at 20:31
i love the new tracks primal scream, angela, teaser, anarchy in the u.k., and the bonus tracks red hot and dr. feelgood live. the best greatest hits cd they came out with the crue rules!!!!!!!!!

From: metalalways Date: November 24, 2005 at 20:31
oh yeah i forgot rock n roll junkie

From: poproxx2007 Date: December 23, 2005 at 0:47
Could of been better. Never liked the Home Sweet Home remix...Motley fans at this time wanted to hear the old stuff that never got released. If they would of done crucial crue around this time with the leftover tracks this could of been an all time classic. It was time for reflection of the past 10 years and crue fans wanted those rare songs. The new ones are good but somewhere this misses the mark and overlooks some very important Crue Classics....

From: PODEROSO YIRO Date: January 23, 2007 at 20:11

From: Put-Put Date: August 10, 2009 at 1:45
this is the perfect mötley mix i only missed 'keep your eye on the money'(Kickass-song)

From: pie75 Date: August 3, 2010 at 8:50
mick mars isn't a bad guitar player not great by any means either but he has a good feel and nice tone he's good at what he does and the crue wouldn't be the same without him this cd is for people getting into crue or for the collector primal scream was cool

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: November 23, 2013 at 17:38
For all intents and purposes, this was the end of Motley Crue as a relevant recording act. There was the Corabi album, which was largely trashed in '94, but which many of us have come to see as a lost classic, but beyond that, what has this band done? Even the good songs they've produced have been little more than rehashes of old ideas, and then there was Generation Swine. UGH! So anyway, here's the Crue's first compilation, containing all the songs the casual listener wants, two from each of their five studio albums. The remixes don't really add or subtract anything, and the live track showcases the band at their bombastic peak. The last five tracks are nothing terribly special, although "Primal Scream" was the last song you could call a hit from this band. Diehard rockers like us have the original albums anyway, so no use bitching about the deep cuts left off this set. It is what it is.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: August 15, 2015 at 13:06
Very cool compilation with some of the band's greatest shots ...tracks 5(nice softy),7,8,9,12 & 14 are my faves of them...89/100
