A superb CD that still gets plenty of plays at Clarkson Towers. Billy's vocals bear a passing resemblance to Jon Andersons hence the frequent Yes comparisons. World Trades music has one foot in AOR territory and another in pomp and it's just great stuff. The second the vocals kick in on The Moment is Here still sends shivers down my spine. There are no bad tracks at all on this album. Excellent.... If you are looking for a reference point think Yes circa 90125 BUT more high tech! Make sense?? |

Great & Classic album one of my fav in this style and agree with Nick 100% Yes style especially from their 90125 album, again one of the best Prog Rock/AOR albums in my collection enough said! |

Well the similar sound to the band Yes is more than obvious...especially in the way Billy Sherwood sings...in this adventure you can also find the man of many battles,Mr Bruce Gowdy!(nowadays with Unruly Child)..."Life-Time" is my all time favourite track but other very pleasant ones are "The Moment Is Here","Can't Let You Go","One Last Chance","Wasting Time" & "Emotional Wasteland"...if you like extremely Yes then get this one...92/100 |

This is a bit different. I was interested in hearing this as it has some future Unruly Child members in it. The songs are definitely progressive but don't last nearly as long as other progressive offerings. The good songs are excellent and the filler is extremely dull. The Moment is Here is top-class as is One Last Chance and Emotional Wasteland while songs like Can't Let You Go and The Revolution Song seem to bore the pants off me. If you like your AOR a bit progressive, go for it. |
