'5-1' was a great debut album from Tom Kimmel and I remember him being raved about at the time in certain magazines and rightly so, as he has that certain quality about his songwriting and performances that alot of his peers would envy. This, his second release, while not quite as good as the debut, is still a highly recommended album for fan of Pure/Lite AOR.

músicos de la talla de Henry Lee Summer y Stan Meisner. Este album data del 99, pero Tom ya ha editado mas producciones, no se la razón de que haya enviado este cd y no el ultimo titulado “Light of day”, de todas maneras, doy gracias a que esta gente existe, sino tendría que trabajar unas 27 o 28 horas por dia para poder pagar mis gastos plus alguna masajista sueca que me saque toda la tensión que me provocan bandas mas pesadas. Si busco un hit “Long long way from here” es el indicado;

otra guía acerca de este redondo “Can’t get you out of my system” tiene una onda entre Clapton y The Wallflowers bien notoria. En el cd aparecen grandiosos artistas como George Marinelli (Petra, St. Clair, John Elefante), Jim Horn (Doro, Toto) y Matt Rollings (Bad Company, Kevin Chalfant) entre otros. Otro recomendado que sale de lo común. *************************************Lucas H Gordon

This is truly an underrated AOR gem. He has this nice raspy voice, and songs like "Love Is My Religion" and "Grace Under Pressure" are fantastic melodies. Anyway there might be some fillers on this album too - 8.5 out of 10. I already ordered his debut album. I hope it is just as good!

"5 TO 1"was excellent(not the entire album but most of the songs),this one is weak and forgettable....

And You are so wrong haha. No I really think the songs are stronger on this one! The analog production is better too. And on hi fi You can really hear the small details on this album. The sound of the drums is excellent. Tom Kimmel's voice is simply fantastic on songs like "Grace Under Pressure", "Love Is My Religion" and "Circle Back Home!. Love this music!
