The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. for hardcore guns n roses fans average

I just ordered a copie of this one and i did it only because TRACII from LA GUNS fame is on it(even if he is only on two songs). I was a big GNR fan from their early days(FIRST EP) but they have desapointed me a lot during the years but i hope with this album i will feel the GNR spirit again in me that i lost so many years ago.

Yes, i got the GNR sprit back with this 3x5 times the same songs in different versions. My favorite song is ROCKER. What a great song. I just love it. Sound more heavy metal then GNR ever did. Very good. Also the rest are good. Fast and loud hard rock.

tracii guns was also in guns'n'roses. and axl rose was once in l.a. guns. and rob gardner was also in both guns'n'roses and l.a. guns. as well, former guns'n'roses guitarist guested with l.a. guns (as well as producing them).

I'm from MOSCOW. This record is fuckin' great!!! We're all goin' crazy 'bout this one!!!

From: BACKOFFBITCH Date: March 26, 2005 at 16:37
The same songs repeated 3 times? A waste? They could have added other tracks like the GNR demos of Jumpin Jack Flash and Heartbreak Hotel. Or pretty much whatever else thats unreleased and not owned by Axl. Speaking of which it surprises me "Reckless Life", "Shadow of your Love" and "Anything Goes: actually made this album. Since they're all in the current GNR catalog!

i just got this cd. the similarity of the name hollywood rose to l.a. guns is rather obvious. not surprising since, axl rose was also sang for an early version of l.a. guns. l.a. (tracii) guns hollywood (axl) rose i'm rather curious as to how tracii guns wound up doing overdubs on 2 remixes on here- i've long gotten the impression that he's not overly fond of axl rose.

I like it, the Gilby Clarke Mix's are my favourite, the reason this has no Guns N' Roses demos?? Because its Hollywood Rose, not Guns N' Roses. Of course.

From: Joshy St. Jaimz Date: October 18, 2005 at 6:22
An interesting look at a pre-GNR. The songs ain't bad, obviously Axl's voice is what carries 'em, it's just that it's hard to listen to this cd ALL THE WAY THROUGH. Good idea to have the remixes, but there really needed to be more original songs to keep it interesting. Surely there was more original material in the archives somewhere? As said above, one for diehard Axl fans only.

From: WASP1 Date: June 20, 2006 at 14:39
I was pleased with this for what it was. It shows the spirit that these guys had early on. Some demo albums are junky, but you can hear the potential in these songs.

From: hair metal again Date: June 14, 2013 at 12:02
very interesting release that captures the spirit of Axl &Izzy being young and reckless!some interesting info inside for the makin of GNR and overall a nice Hollywood vibe of the mid 80s

From: Doug Date: June 17, 2013 at 17:07
The difference between this and GNR? SLASH!
