A big surprise this, big-sounding powerful MHR with hard-hitting riffs and just enough keys. Opener 'Anything But Love' is by far the best track on offer, but there is enough consistency to recommend this one. 7.5/10. |

Man, it sounds really powerful! Great songs, great vocals. Nice to hear an album like this in 2005... |

Grinding melodic hard rock. REALLY well done album of the type I quite enjoy. Crunch-a-munch guitars (verging on Metal) and powerful drums sweetened by just the right touch of keys and vocal choruses. The singer has a terrific voice (although a bit nondescript) quite suited to the material, and everyone else does their job very tastefully. Great song writing devoid of dopey, overly cheeseball lyrics (thank you!). Production values are top notch. This album finds its way into my top rotation quite a bit -- wish they'd make another one like it! 90/100 |

Seems everyone is pretty much in agreement with this Swedish band featuring members of the AOR band ALYSON AVENUE. It's quite far from the AOR influenced music of ALYSON AVENUE, closer to the likes of TALISMAN, FAIR WARNING, MILLENIUM or even YNGWIE MALMSTEEN circa 1990.....melodic hard rock/metal. You won't want to miss out on this one if you are fan of any of the aforementioned bands! |
