If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Shadows Fade CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Shadows Fade are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Pretty disappointing release with an uninspired performance by Kevin Chalfant. Most songs are (as usual in such projects) covers and recorded worse than the original ones. Really not essential or necessary.

Another Frontiers' project of covers with a big-name vocalist, albeit some lesser know tracks. Sadly, yet again, it's the sound quality that ruins the whole thing. The overall sound is muddy, and the vocals get lost in the mix. Chalfant's vocals also sound a little flat at times. The song quality is high ("My Ocean", "Speak" and "Run to Me" are excellent - although the latter is better on Clay Aiken's album), but this is hardly in the Storm/V.U league IMO. Not bad, but not essential.6.5/10.

This is going to surprise anyone taking notes, but I'm actually very close to naming this my favourite melodic hard rock CD of the year! Sorry Tim (2), I just cannot see where critisism of the production comes from, as this is better than or as good as the majority of fine releases these days. I think the sound is awesome, but 100% more important than that is the fact I love every song. If mid-tempo melodic rockers are your thing (And f*ck me are they mine!) I recommend this very highly.

Sorry to keep taking up 2 comments, but I just think that although this has a lot of outside written songs, the mood and vibe flows perfectly. Amazing tracks like my fave 'Twisted again', the superb 'My Ocean' and the killer 'Give it in', which were written by Kevin and Alex, fit in perfectly with the rest of the material written by outsiders. 'Sooner or later','Run to me' and 'Now that you're gone' are other faves, but I love 'em all. As I say, fans of sultry mid-tempo killers, come and collect

Good record, but not the best from mr. Chalfant. More original songs are also welcome. All by all, good effort !

From: Swriter Date: February 11, 2005 at 21:02
anything from Kevin is a welcomed winner, this is a good album, great songs and again, amazing vocals, production is one minor problem. A must have for any fans of The V.U., Steel Breeze, 707, Storm and Two Fires. Hope we see lots more releases from Kevin. Highlights are 1-5, what a great way to start an album, Without You, Give and the best, I won't look back!!!!

pretty disappointing release. yes, it´s pure melodic rock, but each song has been heard a 1000 times before. nothing remarkable here and as soon as the cd has ended you´ve forgotten the songs. not worth buying.

bueno en líneas generales. Mi favorita es "my ocean" y "without you" que tienen buenos riffs y solo melódicos. Todos los temas estan regulares. La producción o quizas la mezcla no haya resultado bien o muy bien que digamos. Los temas son covers y la mayoría de riffs suenan muy similares a lo que ya hiciera Alex DeRosso con Perfect World. Bueno. 7.9/10

I remember that Geoff did recommend me this one puttin'among the best aor releases in the last years.Hey Geoff I am really surprised that you lover this cd(you are also more into metal like me if I well remember),I find this one generic,a little boring and very generic...Is this K.Chalfant???Maybe he was sick during the recording, voice is terrible!BTW some good tunes, nothin'more IMO.8/10.

A pretty mellow album in here with almost not "jumping outta bed" ones shamely but yet the album is quite decent if you are into the easy listening stuff.Tracks 6,7,9(nice) & 10(nice) are the ones for me.Kevin Chalfant?,as awesome as usually is .70/100
