I think they set the tone for their comback with this one, when Lawless made a statement like 'We're going to out Manson, Manson.' The disc tanked, they slaughtered a 'fake' pig on stage & the tour with Motorhead was cut short. Instead of K.F.D., why not call it 'Anything that could have gone wrong did?' This sound is Blackie Lawless singing over Nine Inch Nails throw aways. Don't believe me? Well, check for yourself. 5.0 on the SWINE SCALE(because it's a short disc).

Yeah, I agree with Swine. It was a good disc, but WASP just aren't an industrial band. I was disappointed that Chris Holmes rejoins to play NIN throwback music. KFD and Killahead are good, and Wicked Love is probably the only song that reminds me of the WASP of old. I'm a diehard fan, so I like this disc, just wouldn't play it before any of the others though.

Well what the hell what can I say?? I dig this one. These guys out 'goth' any goth band out there with this and the songs sound like they mean it to me and not bandwagon-ish. This is just a great dark, evil cd and I think a good change of pace album from these guys. I think some fan's might have missed the fact that finally Wasp walked the fuckin walk and were evil & nasty.

This album kicks some serious ass. Industrial? Not really, just metal with a modern edge. The perfect album if you're feeling pissed off. I like their other stuff too, but Helldorado sounded a bit silly following this.

I really like WASP, but what the HELL happened here. Just watching the cover is enough, I hate cardboard/digi things, and this is one of th eworst examples I`ve ever seen. The front is a 'refrigerator' Opening the cardboard thing reveals an open refrigerator. With a body inside.......Crap. Opening the cd cover, and listening to the music, really makes me wonder...!!! Wasnt it Manson who was a fan of WASP, and NOT the other way 'round. This is WASTE. I love most releases though. BUT THIS...

I actually rather like this one. No, it's not traditional W.A>Sp., but then, some of their 'traditional' stuff sounded pretty tired and forced. I can appreciate the anger and violence of this CD, even though I'm not a huge fan of industrial music. Some of these songs actually sound better on DOuble Live Assassins though. Oh, adn the lyrics to 'U.' Ooooooh, you bitch!

this album was very important for blackie and us/our genre to show what shock rock realy is,and who else to do it but the best,not to say this is our{fans}favorite album but for the type of music it wasp did it better than nin,manson or any1 else//plus this is the end of the trilogy..crimson.still not black enuff and this close's blackies's story..thank you for the anger on this one blackie

C'mon guys, get out of the 80's and broaden your horizons a tad. This album was a giant step for Blackie and I think a great one. The 'sex'-rock is great to listen to but when I'm pissed off - there's nothing like throwing KFD in the CD player and kicking a little ass. One of my favs!!!!

'Kill Fuck Die' was the last good album this band did! Take a look at 'Helldorado', 'Unholy Terror' or 'Dying For The World', they all sound like stuff WASP did already before. That's boring!!! 'KFD' is a pretty good album with a shitty production. They should've asked Trent Reznor or Marilyn Manson to show them how to produce it right. Some really strong tunes on it. 'Take The Addiction', 'KFD' or 'Kill Your Pretty Face' rule!! Hope 'The Neon God' will be not as boring as the last 3 albums.

WASP make varied records and thats what make them interesting and a cup above the rest of the bands out there. I like this dics and I think it has some execellent tunes on in 'Littel death' 'my torchured eye' well worth buying in my opinion sounds different to other WASP stuff but when you hear Mr Lawless singing 'So close to death, you know I am it, darkness mother f**cker on the planet' any rock fan should be sold.

Considering I like a few industrial bands I went into this expecting a total industrial album. IMO- I don't think it's even close to sounding like 'Marilyn Mansion' or 'NIN'. Like a previous poster said- 'it's just metal with a modern edge'. 'Kill Your Pretty Face' just fricken rules on this disc. Just heard the new one- 'The Neon God' and if you like the last couple you'll like that one.

Great fuckin album. I love all WASP, and this was my first one. I bought it when it cameout cause I was a Manson freak at the time, and WASP was described in Metal Edge as being the 80's Marilyn Manson, so I decided it must be good. I loved it then and I still love it now, even after I discovered old WASP, which is ok, a little better, but hey, for something different, it's still a great album. I saw them 3 weeks ago and they played My Tortured Eyes, and it wasa AMAZING!!!

W.A.S.P. tried to compete with what was happening in metal and alternative music at the time. When the great metal bands do that they always fall short. There are a couple good songs but WASP fans are not going to like it and industrial fans cant like it because its WASP-either way they are screwed. I give Blackie credit for moving ahead but by this time it was too late.

A heavier WASP on this album. I quite like the album. There is certainly some anger on this cd. 'Take The Addiction', 'KFD', and 'U' are very heavy and in your face songs - sonically and lyrically! And 'My Tortured Eyes' is a career highlight that they played a couple years ago live in San Diego when i was there. A few shockers on the album though which doesn't allow it to be a WASP classic, and the fans never really embraced this style, but for me, it was a nice change and a cool record. 8/10..

Sound aside-these are some of the best lyrics they ever wrote.A mean and pissed off W.A.S.P. is a good W.A.S.P.The live versions of these songs on 'Double Live Assassins' by far blow away the ones here on K.F.D.

Warning : If you´re looking for something similar to WASP albums from the 80/90s, then stay away from this one!!! This album is something like a WASP-Marilyn Manson crossover, with an industrial/modern metal edge and depressing and angry lyrics. Although, I enjoyed this one, it has interesting tracks like "KFD", "Killahead", "My Tortured Eyes" and "Wicked Love".

i got this the day it came out and was excited that chris holmes was back i thought i was going to get an old school album away from the serious stuff-boy was i wrong when i put it on i was horrified i hate it and i'm a wasp fan the only song i thought was listenable was my tourched eyes i got rid of it and beleive me i had trouble giving it away discraceful is the only word that comes to mind

Wasp has usually recorded very high standart albums..but this one without being completely a waste is not a very good disc either ..."Killahead" is my only favourite plus 2 goodies in "K.F.D." & "Little Death"...recommended album?...yes if you are a die hard fan of the band otherwise skip it(a matter of tastes make the difference!).87/100 (as u can read even without being my cup of coffee still got a pretty decent rate)

I actually had a disagreement with someone who claims that apart from this album, WASP hasnt had a decent album since Headless children, as all the albums sound the same. I pointed out that this is the only bad album since Headless children, and when people listen to WASP they want to hear WASP, not some bandwagon jumping industrial noise (I do like a couple of songs on this tho). Theres a reason they switched back to their old sound after this, and thats cause barely anyone liked it.

I like this one a LOT! The Nine Inch Nails/Marilyn Manson comparisons are somewhat overstated, as Blackie's voice is stil unmistakable as ever, and the melodies still sound like something he would sing, especially on the slower songs. The drums do have a bit of a mechanical feel to them, and the overall sound is kinda compressed and modern, with a fair amount of ear candy that isn't made with guitars, bass or drums. I agree with the first Tony's comment from 2002: this makes the mid-'80's albums sound like goofy Steel Panther joke songs by comparison. In hindsight, the band were fairly average aside from Blackie's voice, and quite dated as well. Hate to say it, but in 2015, a lot of pre-Appetite metal is starting to sound pretty quaint to these ears. The idea here seems to be the same as Motley Crue's Generation Swine: make a dark, heavy, angry, modern record. W.A.S.P. succeeded where the Crue fell on their faces. There really isn't a song on here I don't like.

So anyway, this is as advanced as W.A.S.P. ever got. After this, they basically went and relived their whole catalog again, first with the cheesy cock-rock of Helldorado, the more serious Unholy Terror and Dying For THe World, and the overblown concept of the Neon God whose story shares more than a passing similarity with the Crimson Idol.

Well, let's see. Can't speak for Europe or wherever Dany69 is from, but in North America, Manson still enjoys a much higher profile than does Blackie Lawless. I would guess it's not too different in the rest of the world, except possibly Japan? I'm not saying either is better than the other, but notice that affter this one album, Blackie went back to making much more typical W.A.S.P. music.

Like I said, Dany69, I don't know where you live, but in America, there's no question whatsoever that Manson has a much bigger footprint than Blackie. His profile is nowhere near what it was twenty years ago, I'll give you. But Blackie is a has-been here, and "has been" for a very long time," partly why at least one of his recent albums wasn't even released stateside (Dominator, I think it was). It's not a comment on which band I like better personally (I like, but don't love, them both), it's just the facts, man. Manson is still able to get on some big tours (Slayer, Rob Zombie), gets airplay even for his new music, and appears at large festivals. Blackie, when he even bothers, plays for generally very small crowds, most of whom don't give a shit for anything after Crimson Idol.

This album is a masterpiece of despair and sorrow. In my honest opinion, outside of death or black metal, this is one of metal's darkest albums but one of its most underrated bands. Hail Blackie!
