I've recently gone back and listened to the first 4 WASP disc's and then bought Dominator. The song, 'Mercy' is not only a great lead to the new stuff but one of the best WASP songs period. Blackie, as a musician, I know how limited your 4 chord chops are but you find a way to layer stuff very well. 'Crimson Idol' started showing the limitations and every disc since shows how much you love the E, G, A change. It wears thin at times but sounds great when I'm really in the mood. I would love to he

..hear your voice wrapped in other 4/4, 125 BPM songs without the standard 'WASP' chord progressions. Good disc. I highly recommend it.

Yes good oldschool WASPsound. But the runningtime of the album is a crime for the price of an CD nowadays!

'Dominator' is the best thing W.A.S.P. has put out in quite some time.'Mercy','Heaven's Hung In Black','Teacher' & 'The Burning Man' are great songs. What would have made this album better in my book would have been a line-up of Lawless,Holmes,Duda and Bannali.Pretty d*mn good ! ----

Like this album very much but to me this one sound more like THE CRIMSON IDOL and UNHOLY TERROR then to their first 4 albums. Still, killer songs. A BUY OR DIE RELEASE.

Mr. Lawless still continues vociferating against Bush authorism...Great album and great messages!!!

With DOMINATOR, W.A.S.P. has thankfully rebounded (somewhat) from the two-part NEON GOD clusterf**k... although a run time of under 40 minutes and only 9 tracks (one of which is a 'reprise' of an earlier song for cryin' out loud!) makes me wonder if Blackie's tank is finally starting to run out of gas.

Blackies started to sound repetetive and out of ideas already with 'Inside The Electric Circus' and I haven't really liked any of the later discs (since 'Crimson Idol'). I like this one though. Of course, almost every song and vocal line delivered here is very recognizable, but overall this is the best W.A.S.P. album since 'Crimson Idol'. The sound is much more enjoyable and not as intense and urgent as on his other work of late.

Admittedly not the 'classic w.a.s.p.' sound, but a damn good album with some amazing songs such as 'Heaven's Hung In Black' and 'Teacher', where this album falls down is with the running time, it's far to short aswell as having a 'reprise'. I have no idea why they couldn't stick on the one studio original cut and the deep purple/creedence clearwater covers??

I love Wasp no matter what but honestly IMHO i found this release a little dull...not too consistent shamely,a matter of tastes i guess..."The Burning Man","Heaven's Blessed" & "Heaven's Hung In Black" are the ones that caught my attention...add 2 that "Long,Long Way To Go" but...still i'm gonna rate this quite ok though,86/100
