Brilliant album by the man behind the Rembrandts. Great breezy AOR with killer tunes and lyrics. The Stuff That Dreams are Made of kicks it off in fine style and sets the tone for the rest of the album. The choruses and harmonies are cool...not overly layered but just right. Cut From Stone is my fave track but in a dark alley at midnight Vlevet Chains sometimes beats it. Another must have album. |

An awesome album. A very country rock sound and feel to it. Best tracks include 'Cut From Stone', 'Velvet Chains', 'Who's Gonna Hold You Now' & 'My Girl'. Only for those with an appreciation for country rock. |

This is some nice laid back (light) AOR. I like to pop this one in when I just want to chill out. I like his solo stuff better than his work with the Rembrandts. Tracks like 'The Stuff That Dreams Are Made Of', 'Who's Gonna Hold You Now' and 'My Girl' make this one shine. |

"Any Man's Hunger" is a lot better than this self titled album surely but wait, the album offers great tracks such as "It's Just Like You","With All Your Might","Who's Gonna Hold You Now" & "The Long Way Home"(the best cut of the album IMHO)...for me is still a goodie one...85/100 |
