| Loud songs and great vocals by Mike Vescera. There are also some ballads like 'Long Distance', but for the most part this is a very heavy CD! Highlights include 'Never Again', 'Deadly Player', In The Mirror', and 'Sleepless Nights'. http://www.metalprovider.com/metallives

| I don't really get this album...Re-recording trax from the pre-english era...Well, I think those songs were just fine on their very first couple of releases. Only outstanding track in my opinion is "In the Mirror" Could've been included on "Soldier of Fortune" soundwise...

| I thought this one was kinda lame, hard to believe they thought they could replace the great Minoru Niihara with an American vocalist. Nothing against M. Vescera 'cos he has a great voice but this CD just didn't do it for me. I didn't realize that the songs on this album are just English language versions of stuff from their earlier Japanese releases.. small wonder that this was the last Loudness album to get released in the US.

| Great album, I love it. Mike vescera has a great voice. After that I looking all the mike vescera works (It's a lot) Loudness is a great band now is changed but still rocking

| unfathomable guitar work on tracks "never again" and "find a way" can't imagine what goes thru akiras head when he's putting a solo together! no bullshit, hands down the BEST guitar player EVER! anymore like him out there? anybody got any suggestions?

| Dear dinoman1967, i agree Akira is a great guitar player, but the best ever? i don't think so... IMO Paul Gilbert, Zakk Wylde, Steve Morse, Richie Kotzen, John Sykes, Doug Aldrich, just to mention a few, are wwwaaayyy better than Akira, and even Tak Matsumoto and Kelly Simons from Japan can be compared to him. And, of course, we aren't talking about Eddie, who teaches Akira BTW, did you know that?

| 'Love toys' is essentail commercial hard rock, 'Never again' is a truly beautiful ballad, 'Sleepless nights' and 'Find a way' both have nice features, but f*ck me grand if 'Long distance' isn't one of the most sensational tracks I ever heard!!! I still sing it in my head so often these days, and it is such a huge, catchy, brilliant commercial hard rock tune. Overall, this is just a very good melodic / commercial hard rock disc with more awesome guitars.

| The guitar work is outstanding on all tracks and Vescera's vocals really shine, especially on "Deadly Player". They even managed to do a decent power ballad with "Never Again". I just wish they had included song lyrics in the liner notes instead of a lame fold-out photo of the band.

| This is a great album!!!...Melodic Metal with some Hard Rock touches and even AOR-ish sounds("Long Distance")...Mike Vescera strongly reminds me of Lizzy Borden in here (vocally talking)...my fave tracks are 1,2,3,4(solid ballad),8,9 & 10...89/100

| excellent release by LOUDNESS tryin to go even more commercial but without losing their heavy id !the result is pretty good with great guitar work as always,many good songs,great vocals and a strong polished production."long distance","never again" "down n dirty","find a way" and "love toys " are the highlights of one of LOUDNESS finest moments!
