Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

Here Loudness really tries to enter the big league...The vox are unfortunately too weak for an international breakthru'. A lot of their energy was lost in the production but still this album has great songs and by the way it's fun to hear Loudness with keyboards! No matter what, they were an excellent band! Too bad 'bout the vox though... |

Awesome!! Quality melodic hard rock from beginning to end. Recruiting D.G. Eisley & G. Giuffria was brilliant - they bring a lot to Loudness' music. Rock 'n Roll Gypsy is kick ass! Definitely better than Soldier of Fortune. |

This album is sorta like loudness turning hair/pop metal from their heavy metal music. Nevertheless, great stuff from this awesome japanese bands. Takara and EZO are great bands but loudness blows both of them away! |

LOUDNESS rocks! I found this one and THUNDER IN THE EAST in a local store near me. I had the chance to visit the store when they had a special that were selling used LP's. Yes, I got THUNDER IN THE EAST and HURRICANE EYES in LP and used, but still sounds great after this time of use. Man, I was lucky enough to find these both LP's which are my favorites. |

My least favorite of the three "Americanized" albums with Minoru on vocals. "Rock This Way" and "S.D.I." kick some ass, but the goofy chorus of "Rock N Roll Gypsy" and the bland ballad "So Lonely" are let downs. The rest of the songs fall somewhere in between. They were obviously going for a U.S. radio hit on this one rather than the heavier metal of "Thunder in the East" or "Lightning Strikes." For die hard collectors only |
