| Very enjoyable, but not one of the better sounding live albums I've heard, with the guitars sounding very weak. Great for parties.

| the best live party album ever. jaw dropping energy!!!!!!!! Fuck they kick ass to the limit. Love everything on this album. I just wish Rockets drumsolo could have been a bit more rockin instead of just showing of of what he has on his drumkit. it sounds a bit like a "learn to play drums with a reggae kit next to me". No offense. I love this album totally!!!!!!!!!!great great great great!!!!

| All of the studio tracks are above average (yes, that includes the blues-driven, yet somewhat unlikeable at times, "Souls On Fire"). The live tracks themselves I often find overshadowed just because the addition of the four new studio tracks are so good. Three good rockers and a great, great ballad = a very good Poison collection, if only for the studio tracks. As for the live stuff, C.C.'s guitar solo is another major highlight contributing to 'Swallow This Live's' nobility.

| great album shows c.c. is a great guitarist also the four studio songs are great not just put on there to sell the album shows how poison looks after their fans

| There's a reason why this "live"? album is widely regarded as one of the poorest ever produced...just take a listen. Poison were a fairly good band during the mid-late 80's. C.C Deville is a competent guitarist, but nothing more. They had their 3 years of fame 1986-89 and they should be thankful they got it. their first two albums showed promise, with reasonable songwriting executed with some talent. After 1989 they simply lost their way musically and it shows on their "live" album. 2/10

THEIR TALENT IS PUTTING TO GETHER SONGS AND LIVE SHOWS THAT PEOPLE LOVE TO JAM TO, AND GIRLS LOVE TO SHAKE THEIR TITTIES TO. WHO DONT LOVE THAT? EVERY YR THEY TOUR AND PUT ON KILLER SHOW. | I just bought this cd second hand, but is is a one cd version, without the drum solo and the guitar solo and a few songs. Should i buy the double cd? Are those solo pieces that great or is there not much to miss, cause cc's solo on Power to the people is terrible... The new tracks on Swallow are great! The production of the live tracks isn't the best, but it sounds better than PTTP, that album has a horrible production (the live part, that is...)

| It's a pretty fine "live" cd. Except for the overdubs in excess, it's almost perfect. The studios trracks are so fine and my preffer is "So Tell Me Why". A really pretty fine song. Remember the time wich rock and roll was funny yet! So, once upon a time, became Nirvana... And all had changed!

| Totally unneeded double live album from Poison. First, the songs sound exactly like the studio versions except played worse. Second, they were never the best musicians to begin with, so why do we get all these solo tracks (who really needs to hear a Poison drum solo)? Poison are a band that are worth seeing live, but not listening to a live album. 2/10

| I reckon if Poison had recorded a full album as they were here it'd have been their best. 'So tell me why' is a commercial gem and should have succeeded as a single, 'No more lookin' back' is probably my fave Posion song ever, and just a f*cking monster hard rock track, and 'Only time will tell' is my favourite Poison ballad and an absolutely beautiful song! Three of their best. The live stuff is okay too...

| the ultimate hair metal band captured live back then, when real good hard rock music ruled the world.this is perfect by nature what can you say about it;nice live atmosphere,great songs,big vocs by bret and screaming guitars by c.c.the studio tracks are awesome ,especially the "only time will tell".rock n roll, women,fun,booze thats what life worths for isnt it;

| The original two disc edition of this album is hard to come by now. They re-released this minus the studio tracks and CC's solo among other things and out it on a single disc. Luckily I found an original because the studio tracks are very high quality.

| Actually two single disc editions have been released. The UK version has the studio tracks and the one I was referring to (and the one I was tempted to buy once) was the 2004 remastered edition which contains neither the studio tracks nor CC's solo. Both aren't as good as the dual disc edition.

| i didn't think this album was too bad poison always sounded alright live to me they play basic rock so they don't sound too bad the songs only had too come from 3 albums so everybody should've heard what they want

Pretty common live Poison album to be honest,ok the happy spirit was there,as usual,but for me it has been the same formula since then at any Poison concert nowadays(it has been like a copy and paste thing if u know what i'm saying)even though this one could be acceptable more than the recent ones because it was the first official live album of the band...the cd edition brings a bonus cd that contains all those studio bonus tracks(the vinyl was different)...90/100

LOL that make me sad cause some peoples can't understand WHY C.C. Solo is so long on some live ????????? cause Bret needed his insulin shot because of his low blood sugar, !!!! This live Is Amazing,,, Poison Rulezzzzzzzzzz But need an album LOL
