Man did this one look good in that envelope of the way out of my life forever! Classified as southern rock, guess that's why I didn't like it. Mellow, hook-free and just, IMO, boring. Got to be into this stuff to enjoy it and I'm not really sure many listeners to the majority of stuff on this site would view this in a listenable light. Avoid. |

Great southern rock outfit!.I saw them live in England at the famous "Town&Country"venue and they literally kicked butts. They got plenty of advertising back in 1986 with this album and England received them with a lot of expectation."Keep your hands to yourself" is a killer song.10/10 |

Decent southern rock with hard thumping drums and addictive rhythms. The opening song is instantly listenable and one finds oneself singing along unexpectantly. The singer has a very booming voice which sounds a bit 50s-ish. It's very unique Southern Rock and sounds dissimilar to all the other Southern Rock acts around. I certainly wouldn't call this mellow or hook free in fact. Enjoyable stuff. Battleship Chains and Keep Your Hands are my favourites. |

Listening to this debut release once again and realizing how catchy it is for sure ...a band that,as i said in a previous comment, had the chance of seeing live in lovely U.K...my fave tracks in here are # 1(hit single),2,3,4,7( ),8,9 & 10(cover Faces)...if you like Southern Rock with a kinda commercial feel then get this one a.s.a.p.83/100 |
