The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Gamma CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Gamma are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Jeez I remember buying this album years ago because of the cool sleeve, and I was reet pleased because I heard it before Geoff Barton reviewed it in Sounds hahaha! I think this is my favourite of the four Gammma albums, although they are all excellent, especially Gamma 2. Ronnie Montrose plays up a storm on this album and his guitar sound just smolders. Davey Pattison is also a fantastic vocalist who should be more well known than he is! Top stuff! |

My brother turned me on to Gamma when we were kids. Excellent work, this one. I've always believed that Ronnie was underrated. Even when Sammy sang for him, Sammy got all the credit. Not to put Sammy down, but Ronnie has alway been loaded with talent. This album was a masterpiece. |

Great album. The album is worth it just for "Fight To The Finish". |

RONNIE TEARS OFF THE COVER ON THIS THEIR 1ST. LOADED W/MUSICAL TALENT THESE GUYS JAM. EXCELLENT MUSICIANSHIP. I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT HOW GOOD THIS IS AND HOW GREAT THEY WERE. I LOVE YOU GUYS. YOUR MUSIC HAS ALWAYS BEEN FUN TO LISTEN TO REGARDLESS OF WHAT,S GOING ON IN THE WORLD. YES RONNIE WAS READY FOR SOME ACTION AS HE FOUGHT TO THE FINISH IN HIS WAR W/CANCER. WE HAVE LOST A TRUE LEGEND IN MUSIC. I HOPE I,LL LEAVE SOME KIND LEGACY TOO. PEACE. |

Very good release which would set them up nicely for the majestic "Gamma 2". My only gripe about this is that the guitar is too low in the mix & overshadowed by the synthesisers but song wise there are some gems. "Razor king", "Fight to the finish", "Wish I was" & "Thunder & lightning" all set a high standard & there is no filler in sight. Davey Pattison was a great vocal discovery at the time |

Their best release IMO. Tracks #1, #2 and #8, awesome! |
