| A fairly luke-warm press response to this, but IMO this is a real highlight of 2004. The album flows superbly, the song choices are spot-on, there's hooks and melodies all over the verses/bridges and choruses, and the vocals are awesome. "Suddenly" and "Damn" sound like they were written for Vaughn's voice, and his own penned tracks are awesome (particularly "Nothing at All"). Forget the fact that these are covers of nu-breed/country/pop tunes, and just enjoy Vaughn making them his own. 9.5/10.

| I have to say that I absolutely loved this album. Actually, I wasnīt touched by an album this way since Milleniumīs Hourglass years ago. Damn and Is Anybody Watching Me? have everything a power ballad should have, Danny Vaughn sings here like his life depends on it, two of his best performances so far, and the more uptempo songs are great also, specially Suddenly (forget it is a Leann Rimmes song) and Fight For Love. IMO his best work since Tyketto era, better than Vaughn or anything else

| The songs are melodic and rock in all the right places.This cd is the best cd that DANNY VAUGHN has done since the early days of TYKETTO.I don't mind if the songs are covers or not.A good song is a good song.One of the best releases of 2004.

| Closest thing sound wise to Tyketto that Danny has done since he left the band! Great album covers or not. Nothing too obvious on the covers front either!

| I just love this album! "Is Anybody Watching Me?" must rate as one of the best EVER AOR songs! Buy this at all costs, as it is on a par with "Native Sons" by Strangeways - it's that good.

| Gran trabajo!! Danny Vaughn posee una voz genuina llena de potencia y clase...aqui tanto en sus temas como en las versiones esta muy bien...disco de rock melodico muy bueno que te hara pasar muy buenos momentos. "Suddenly", "Nothing at all", "Damn","Is there anybody watching me?"...son temas llenos de garra y melodia que me hacen vibrar...la mayor de mis penas fue que hace unos meses perdi la ocasion de verle con Tykketo...Danny Vaughn una de las mejores voces del hardrock sin lugar a dudas

| Very good stuff. In this day and age, its a bit of fresh air to hear Danny belting out the tunes. While Danny's voice carries this album the music is not subpar. IMO Danny's voice is just so good it is hard to judge the music up against it. I would put Danny up there with JSS and Geoff Tate as THE voices in rock. I know there are others worth a mention but these guys standout. A very enjoyable album. Pick it up as you will not be disappointed. This one grows on you.

| Sadly, Tate USED to stand out. Not knowing the original versions of any of these covers as they fall well out of the rock/metal spectrum, i was pretty damn impressed with this album. With newer offerings by both Soto and Vaughn delivering the goods i sure wish Tate would as well. Maybe the sequel to Operation Mindcrime will redeem him.

| I agree Dean. Tate USED to stand out. There is a HUGE difference between the Tate I seen in '91 on the Empire tour which they did Operation Mindcrime in its entirety. BEST concert I have ever witnessed and I have seen a quite a few in my 35 years on this planet. The last few times and the DVD's prove his pipes have aged a bit. Well, quite a bit. Let's hope that II stands up. My guess is no....but there is hope.

| what a great voice!!! I did not even realize most of the songs were covers till I read the liner notes. Man, this is a great one. All tunes r fantastic with Damn, Stop, Suddenly, Blesssing and Is anybody watching me(wowowowowow) One of the top ten of 04 without a doubt!!!

| Danny, you ugly yet beautiful man; what a disc! I love these type of discs because I've never heard any of the originals before anyway. 'Nothing At All' is a great hard rocking opener, 'Suddenly' and 'Stop' are amazingly, perfect melodic hard rockers, 'Losing Game' is awesome, 'Damn' is a possible fave and mind-blowing, 'Relentless' is just sensational - that riff!!! 'Always' is sensational again, and 'Beautiful Goodbye' is literally beautiful. Awesome voice / massive drums. Essential CD.

| I'm listening to this CD as I'm writing this, and I'm positively surprised. After Tyketto I had listened to some of Danny Vaughn's projects and did not feel very impressed by them. This one sounds excelent.

| This is my least favorite of all the Danny Vaughn releases. The guy rates as the best singer in the business in my book, but the song selections here were just average. That said, Mr. Vaughn takes these average songs and turns them into masterpieces. "Suddenly" and "Damn" are instant favorites, and "Nothing at All" and "Blessing in Disguise" are pure Vaughn brilliance. I gave this one an 8/10, but only because it doesn't stand up to the rest of Danny's work in my eyes as instant classics.

| This album is Huge! I like it even more than the Tyketto debut (I surely listen to FTI more often). And apart from that no other Danny Vaughn album can even compare to this. All songs are worth listening but there are at least 4 or 5 brilliant songs. I will only mention Losing game cause it's a personal favorite. I think everyone will have his own from this great album. Danny's voice is fantastic! This album is all about the singer and the melodies.

| i prefer the first tyketto record even if here we have a good stuff.but i am not under the charm of this record.great a o r not more.it is difficult to explain the production is good but i don t like the sound of this record.the sound is to cold too clinic.3 or 4 super songs but for the rest i have the feeling to listen always the same song.i am not hooked sorry.the japan import is interesting cause there is 2 bonus tracks video.

Just got this a couple of days ago and it was worth asking for it!!!...more or less in the same line as the follower "Visions"(2008)in quality terms but obviously this one brings covers that the band made them sound like their own but at the end are just that,covers... anyway "Suddenly","Fight For Love","Damn"(solid soft),"Stop","Blessing In Disguise"(nice) & "Always"(nice AOR) are my faves...87/100
