|SONDS LIKE ZEPPILIN BUT THERE ARE GOOD TUNES HERE LIKE- WHAT LOVE CAN BE-GET IT ON-GET IT ON THIS A POWERFUL SOUNDING RECORD
||Date: May 6, 2001 at 14:54|
|lenny wolf sound like robert plant and you'll find some zeppelin influences here, but who cares? this is a great debut for the band with great songs: living out of touch,pushing hard,now forever after and shout it out are the best kingdom come songs ever.

|The late 80's were a good time for melodic rock and this is a perfect example. Great songs that were played as well as they were written. Zeppelin sound which works well.

|I bought this cd about 200 years ago, and hated it since. Then I gave it a 50`th try, and its starting to catch me. Its rather good.

|Tracks 6 and 9 sound amazingly like Zeppelin, and thus are quite entertaining. The rest of the album is bland and forgettable.

|"Get It On" is a good Zeppelin cover. Was the original on Zeppelin II or "Houses of the Holy"?
||Date: July 18, 2002 at 0:06|
|Answering your question Koogles, "Get It On" is not a Zeppelin Song, soungs a lot like Kashmir from Physical Graffitti but "Get It On" is an "original zeppelinesque " from "Kingdom Clone"

|What a successful band was KC. When I first took the album, it really impressed me. If the personnel of the first two albums were kept, I believe KC would gradually begin to shake the world. Because every member was a quite talented rocker. "What Love Can Be" was a great power ballad and the song of the 88 summer. James Kottak became the "just right choice" for Scorpions later. I wonder in which projects do Danny Stag and Johnny B. Frank work currently. I hope "not grunge"!

|When I was in fourth grade, I mentioned something to a teacher of mine (we often talked music--I was just getting into metal at the time) about Kingdom Come, something I'd heard on MTV about them. I'd never actually heard any of their stuff. Well don'tcha know, he gave me this tape. He'd had it and didn't really care for it. Well ... I dunno. SOme songs, like 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, are good, but it's nothing I shit my pants over. BUT! Reading these comments make me wanna give it another shot. I'm going

|Geniales, un disco obra maestra, y eso q decian q copiaban a los zeppelin!! desde la manera de cantar a la genialidad de sus musicos este es un disco increiblemente bueno.

|TOBAH, notice koogles' "wink" smilie place directly after the question mark. I believe that his question was more rhetorical and sarcastic than it was an actual inquiry. That's what smilies are for.

|This is a great album! Shame the band isnt together in original form ex. James Kottak is with the "Scorpions" but this is a great album needs to be re released but other than that track 1 through 10 are great not done dull tune...trust me!

|You know , i respect Led Zeppelin but Kingdom Come is a MUCH better band and never got the credit they deserved. KC writes excellent songs and has far better guitar solos than the king of slop Jimmy Page. Sorry Zeppelin fans - Kingdom Come are 1000 times better IN MY OPINION.

|Beside 'Livin outta touch' and 'Get it on', the record is weak. Wolf has this mid-tempo, overkeyboarded thing that started overly showing up in Bad Image that ruins the whole thing. He can sing and play bass and guitar and everything, but the fella is too cheesy. Time would prove him totally formulaic. Still, 'Get it on' is one of the best 10 songs ever written. The perfect piece. In my opinion, 'In you face' and 'Hands of time' are twice as good as this one. Trust me.

|i dont care what anyone says this band rocked. i like them.
||Date: June 11, 2003 at 16:52|
|Ya know, I've always like this cd. Sure, it sounds very Zepplin-ish in spots, but hey, I guess if youre gonna steal, I would rather hear half-a** Zeppelin than half-a** Nirvana....I agree with Alex though, the best 2 songs are Livin, and Get it on.

|It's been 10 years since I've heard KC. I had the first three albums, never heard from them again. Great memories this band brings back. This album rocks, I'll buy all 3 again. GET IT ON!!!!!!

|I haveīt really listened Led Zeppelin very much (couse I donīt get it) but I know Lennyīs voice is very similar with Robert Plant. You might find similarities from music also, but I think itīs too unfair to blame this band for itīs rip offs, if they did it ones or twice. I mean, Timo Tolkki for example ones said: we donīt write our music, itīs allready written by someband else. This is great band and s/t is one of their greatest albums.

|innovador.Rompen un poco el molde,pero mantienen la esencia del heavy.de tendencia setentero(wwhat love can be,loving you),pero con himnos del glum rock(the shuffle,shot it out),y una combinacion de ambas cosas(get it on).

|All songs rock and are good end of story
||Date: November 30, 2003 at 11:53|
|yes i know.....led zeppelin....but in this case the student win on the master,i have no doubt.if now we consider every records of zeppelin,song by song we can say(if ambiased)that none of them have the hit-songs of this first realise of kingdom come.NONE!

|TAL VEZ ZEPPELIN SONARIA ASI EN ESTOS AŅOS .KIEN SABE.SOLO SE PUEDE DECIR KE ADAPTAN MUY BIEN EL SONIDO ZEPPELIN CON EL DE FINALES DE LOS OCHENTA.LOS RESULTADOS SON HITS COMO GET IT ON Y WHAT LOVE CAN BE.SHOUT IT OUT Y THE SHUFFLE SON MUY BUENAS CANCIONES MAS PROPIAS DE ESTA DECADA.MUY BUENO.

|I bought this album (on cassette) in like 1989 or so and I loved it.My friends hated and always made fun of me for liking it Though the years I have lost my copy of it.I heard "Get it on" in a movie recently and it reminded me of this great music that I had forgot. "What love can be" is a hell of a song.Everytime I listen to it , I am taken back to the old days!This band never got the hype it deserved and thats a shame! TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO LOVED THIS ALBUM IN THE LATE 80S... you ROCK!

|I love this album and not ashamed to admit it. Who cares if they copied Zeppelin--they did it WELL! I have this one and 'In Your Face', would like a third that is of that caliber from them...suggestions? I don't want any that took them in a different direction. I like these two albums a LOT.

|Yeah,Those first 2 records were pretty cool.I heard they had a really killer set at the old "Monsters Of Rock" show,alongside Accept,Dio,Dokken,Motorhead etc .Ive always liked "Kingdom Come" as well and never cared about the stupid critics that used to bash them.

||Date: February 7, 2004 at 16:35|
|I remember hearing it in a record store like the month it came out in 88. It's zeppelin wanna-be. Kind of well played, but kind of sterile as well. I saw them open Van Halen's monsters of rock in 88 and they sounded just like the album, no energy. This was at a stadium and no one much yelled, raised a fist or anything for them because they were just dull.
||Date: February 22, 2004 at 4:51|
|i have the disc too.and even though its has some good tunes,i must admit its not as good as it should of been.you have to be in the mood to hear it all.there's a reason their only known for one hit song.but i feel everyone should get their shot.and for those true fans,what band was lenny in BEFORE k.c.? alright,it was stone fury.their hit song was "breaking down the walls".try finding any of those cd's.i only found them on vinyl.

|These guys were called "Kingdom Clone" back in the day as they did their very best to reincarnate Led Zepplin. This album is just alright for me.
||Date: April 22, 2004 at 18:13|
|Yeah, they were definitely one of the more blatant Led Zeppelin clones with their debut... but not so much on their follow ups. This is a strong album regardless. The guys in the band were all great musicians and Lenny Wolf had the talent to pull off the Robert Plant style vocals. There are several standout songs on this and not a dud in the bunch.
||Date: April 24, 2004 at 11:20|
|This album is one of the best hard rock albums ever. Lenny is the best talent in rock, ever. Led who? Quit comparing! There is no comparison. Alot of you mention the Zeppelin influences, and honestly, Zeppelin does not compare to Kingdom Come. BTW, Lenny Wolf has continued to release excellent music since and is releasing a new one this summer called Perpetual. Check out WWW.Lennywolf.com and http://pub94.ezboard.com/bthehighland.

|What Lvoe Can be is one of the most emotional ballads ever. But on Get It on I had to read the song credits to see if it was not a Led Zeppelin cover. Nevertheless, this band rocks.

|Really good, and I donīt think that theyīre a Zeppelinīs clone, even īcuz this is impossible!Zeppelinīs sound is magic! They really have some influences of them, but itīs not so much as others said. About this album, itīs good and different of those "Party Bands" that sucks sometimes! I loved the atmosphere of the album. The best songs: Living Out Of Touch, What Love Can Be, 17, Get It On, Now Forever After, Shout It Loud.
||Date: June 2, 2004 at 6:09|
|The first: KC IS NOT LED ZEPPELIN!!! IT'S KINGDOM COME!!! Real KC's fans are thinking like me. Their songs is great, i like tracks n: 1,3,4,5,7,8,9,10. Get it on is not my fav. KC IS NOT LED ZEPPELIN, LENNY WOLF IS NOT ROBERT PLANT!!!

|I see that there are some true Kingdom Come fans here. Then of course there are the other true Idiots that really know nothing about this band, or good music. The fact is that Kingdom Come has, and still are, recording one Masterpiece after another. The staying and lasting power of this band, proves that they are not no " clone " to NO ONE ! That talk is nothing but pure ignorance, and bullshit ! Perpetual ia a new album by them due out Aug 30th. Perhaps some of you will see the light, then !
||Date: August 6, 2004 at 22:03|
|Sorry, Lenny, but you cannot say that Perpetual is an album by "them" when "they" haven't been together since the 2nd disc. I loved the first two, but everything "he" (Lenny Wolf not Kingdom Come)has put out since is not even close to anything the original band put out.

|This band got bagged on way to much... This album kicked large amounts of ass... saw them as the openers on the Monsters of Rock US Tour(with Metallica, Dokken, Scorpions, Van Halen) They more than held thier own despite playing at noon in some fuckin intense summer heat... Hail Kingdom Come!

|I've heard alot bands that are INFLUENCED by Zeppelin like Fastway, Zebra, Whitesnake, Badlands, Bonham,etc. but this is STUPID! And ever remember the bands in the 70s who polished their craft by paying their dues, playing in small clubs then made it big. This is not one of them. There were alot of bands like KC that were signed because record companies and MTV have a need for them.
||Date: November 30, 2004 at 16:18|
|Absolutely brilliant masterpiece. One of a kind. Go out, no, RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!!buy this NOW!
||Date: November 30, 2004 at 16:26|
|Although there are some nica cuts on this album I'm finding it very hard to live with their way too obvious admiration of Plant/Page songwriting...
||Date: January 19, 2005 at 4:02|
|I see there was a debate above about a few people thinking these guys were better than Zepplin. Well, I got to admit I hate Led Zepplin, but I really quite enjoyed the albums I've heard from these guys. The first song is awesome, 'Now (forever after)' is a great commercial rocker, and the album closer is a gem too. There are a few songs that remind me why I hate Led Zepplin, but for the most part it's a great hard rock CD.
||Date: January 20, 2005 at 17:07|
|Yeah they got some Zeppelin licks..Okay alot of them but who didn't? They are so Cliched it isn't even funny..but it is good,Damn Good! That is all that Matters really,right! I love this and the 2nd one also. After that they went sour...

|Kingdom Come will always be one of my favorites. I remember the night I got a call from Lenny, so excited for me to hear a rough mix of the first LP. As we sat in his car listening, I was totally blown away. EXCELLENT songs, extremely talented musicians. A bunch of the nicest guys you will ever meet too.

|In a time when Robert Plant released dreadful poppie albums, and Page barely appeared with the mediocre uninspired The Firm(...sorry!) this album should have been received as a great (homage) album, it rocks all the way through, Lenny Wolf has and incredible voice, that is NOT a carbone copy of Plant's ( it's just the way he sings) and all the songs are good If you like Whitesnake, Great White, even Cinderella or Shark island you will enjoy this. The ir second albums ain't bad either. Aguante Ar

|For a band that is supposedly a Led Zep knockoff (which they sort of are... I mean, let's be honest here) the only blatant "borrowing" that I can hear is on "Shout It Out"...and it's Def Leppard, not Led Zeppelin. The intro sounds almost exactly like 0:23 - 0:49 of Def Leppard's "Another Hit And Run". Or is it just my imagination?
||Date: November 21, 2016 at 9:13|
|This is a very fine debut by Lenny and company. Fine written songs, splendid production and mixing job, and a fresh change from the at the time common bubblegum hairspray glam metal (even though a lot of that was really good, sure). There are similarities to the classic Zeppelin, but not that many that they deserved to be called clones - that's very unfair really. Quiet Riot built a career on a cover song and Warrant used studio musicians (Jani and Beau did for Jani's songs '88--'90), not that many complained. Here we got KC, a band that wrote all their material mainly themselves and had a very cool unique style, suddenly plenty of complaints. Very silly if you ask me, and besides they followed up their excellent debut with an equally excellent second disc, proving their great talents. Timeless classic rock with a nice mix of 70s & 80s edge! Really good stuff! This debut reached sales at approximately 2 million worldwide.
