Great to see this little treasure here ! Nice mix of AOR and pomp elements ! GREAT record on Escape !

Nothing special, indeed. If this is a treasure....

A real good mixture of AOR and pomp that was so familiar in the late 70's. A touch of Styx here and Kansas there make this little gem an album that you would want to listen to from beginning to end. There are songs of substance here with good intertwining of guitar and lush keys. An AOR/pomp fan's wet dream IMO.

There are some good ideas on this, especially some of the almost Crosby,Stills & Nash like vocal harmonies. Songwise there are also some good things going on (Oceans, Who We Are) but it is all presented in such a pedestrian & lacklustre manner with a production job that really lets the side down aswell (check out the last track 'Never Again' which pretty much sums up how often I will be playing this one). Strictly 2nd Division stuff & definately not an AOR/Pomp fans wet dream as stated above.

Don't believe, Jez ! THis is not top stuff, but even further removed from second division stuff ! I wished every record released was as good as this one ! GREAT !

This is no good

As others have mentioned, this disc is not very good. It has a lot of Kansas moments to me, but not in a good way. It also reminds me of 70's Triumph at their cheesist. I hate the harmony vocals on this disc. It is just so 2nd rate for a good label like Escape.
