Okay guys and gals, if you really want to pleasantly surprise yourself, track down a copy of this one. Don't pay big prices, but holy crap this is a good CD! Even better if you like vocalists who sing in languages other than English because although this IS in English, you really can hardly understand the poor bastard and his heavy accent. But the ear for melody in INCREDIBLE! Just check out the first few tracks. Not a brilliant album, but some brilliant songs. Recommended for decent price. |

UTOPIA is the melodic rock album of the decade, in my opinion! I have never known a better orchestrated melodic rock sounding disc than this one! The band is great! Bought ALL of their albums after listening to this one! Worth the listen! Highly recommended!!!!!! |

I bought Silence-Trouble In Paradise and I thought this was a very nice sounding CD! I love harmonic rock. Then I bought Utopia for the follow up and this one is even better. Melodic rock fans will be pleased. Utopia is recommended and I give Silence 5 stars! |

I thought Nostalgia was a superb cd,but this is up there with it.Slightly more accented vocals, and just a bit more "proggy" it doesn't detract from the A.O.R. genre.I can even forgive the Kids In America cover... |

Power Prog AOR at its best!!!...not all the bands know how to mix both styles with at least a decent pattern...Silence does it quite well not to say excellently!!!...my faves are "Utopia parts 1 & 2" & "Strange Sounds" but add also "Do Not Love!","A New Freedom","No Life On Planet Earth"( ) & the cool cover of Kim Wilde "Kids In America"...enjoyable and recommendable...90/100 |
