Presented to the world as a 'classic', but it is far from a classic. Well, this is 'typcical' Scandi melodic hardrock/AOR and it never reaches the level of British, US and Canadian acts ! One you surely can miss !

Yeah, I was truly stunned to see this one come out as a classic. Stunned. Yeah, it's got some decent tracks - there was one I really liked but I can't remember what, but otherwise it's just a pretty decent hard rock release. Sorry Freaky, don't think it's really a typical scandi release as this, IMO, is of far lesser quality than the majority of scandi releases I have ever heard. Pretty good CD though.

I agree, not a classic at all. Some good songs but only a couple. The bonus track HEARTATTACK is good, and maybe one or two more. You will not die if you dont buy lol.

"Why Are the Children Dying" Temazo, "Never Trust a Stranger"(cortita pero buensima), "Phantoms" "Freedom Is All"... Me recuerda al 1 de Glory pero en menor grado obviamente. Disponible a un precio muy mdico en las disco tiendas Online. A escucharlo mas! 8.5/10

What a surprise!!! This is Scandi Melodic Rock of the highest quality, for all of you who still like TREATs Dreamhunter & Organized Crime or JOHN NORUMs Total Control album. "The Gates of Heaven" is such a stunning track full of passion with excellent guitars/keyboards interplay and the chorus is the best Ive heard in a long time. "Never Trust a Stranger" & "I Just Need Your Love" are massive too and of the same level. If you want to fill the gap to the next TREAT album buy this. 9/10 !!!

Boooring... whoever wrote that this was a classic was probably smoking crack at the time.

From: rbrigade Date: August 11, 2008 at 16:48
The comparison with Norum's album is not to be taken serious. The band cannot be compared to anything from the 80's. Most of the songs sound more similar to 90's melodic metal with some prog touches. Phantoms is a good song, mainly due to the nice lead guitar. The band lacks personality and the songs lack feeling. Too polished sound. Boring vocals. The guys voice is mediocre. The Gates of heaven is a song that you will forget once it ends....If this stuff is for 9/10 I must throw away my complete collection of cd's...Guys try to be more reasonable when giving ratings....
