|This is the best album D.L. has recorded. Even though it's no longer made, I recommend you find it. Full of angry, hard driving riffs and beats, it's the perfect "Don't f*ck w/ me 'cuz I'm in a piss poor mood!" collection of songs. 'Tis too hard for Poison fans but too soft for Metallica's...get it? got it? Good!

|This is the first album that I bought from this group and the one that got me hooked on them. This is by far one of the best albums I own...

|Their best CD! Whenever someone asks me what sleaze rock is, I play this CD for them.

|Out of there 7 or 8 albums, this could be the best. They teamed up with producer Max Norman for the second time and made a hit album. Unfortunetly in 1992 when it was released the "grunge" sound was becoming big. So this album didn't stand a chance. It is a great rock album that came out in a time when great rock wasn't being listened to. Check it out! It's Great!!

|I don't like this band. I don't own this one. I own one cd called Bootlegs, dated 1991. They remind me a bad version of Ac/dc and Faster Pussycat. A very siple sleaze rock, really nothing special. I'm trying hard to exchange this one with a friend of mine. I've asked him Atomic arena from Barren Cross. He has got the vinyl.

|Prophet, The bootlegs album that you have isn't the best one to get, if it's going to be your first by Dirty Looks. Five easy pieces is much better. I'm not going to sell you on these guys because they are the tipe of band that hits you right away or not at all. Their stile did change over the years and when they released "Slave To The Machine" in 1996, It was alot darker & heavy.

|This album rocks! Great riffs, cool melodies and good songs, with a first class production (Max Norman...). I love this record. It rocks hard, and it is fun, but also has a darker, more obscure side that adds depht to the album. My favourite songs are "Gas House Sally", "Back to Marseilles" and "Violence in Blue". Probably the best release by this (cool) band. Get it!

|A terrific album, man this one was a refreshing blast in 1992 amidst a world of chit music. The title cut, 'Blue Tequila' and 'Back to Marseilles' end up on many a compilation of mine. Easily one of their best three releases, period. Their last 'great' album (so far!)

|Ok....I know I'm a lady, but......HOLY SH*T this thing COOKS!!! I picked this up after hearing one song "Let It Rain"....and I am SO glad I did!! Easily one of my "new" favorites!! Hard to pick favorites, but "Let It Rain" and "The Last Forever" of course top the list (chick thing? ) BUT....omg....I dunno....."Gas House Sally", "Blue Tequila", "Give It Back" and "Hard In The Middle" are WAY up there too!!! Only "Cardiac Arrest" doesn't do that much for me.

|This album kicks every ass! One of the best in my whole collection!

|Shame that the band was losing it's popularity before this CD came out because this CD is simply fantastic. Better than Turn of The Screw as it's more focused and has more hooks than a tackle box. As Dan said above, "This album kicks every ass!" Enough said!

|Another great release by this awesome band. A lot of people here say it could be their best, and might just be that... but I think I probably stll just slightly prefer the debut. How good is 'Last forever' though?! What a track! Overall, another riff-driven slab of great hard rock.

|This is probably my favorite of the Dirty Looks discs I own. I like to describe the band as "Kix with an attitude problem," and we already know I love Kix. Five Easy Pieces seems to have a little more diversity than the first two discs, and a little hookier as well. Tunes like "Gettin' Over," "Give It Back," "Violence In Blue" and the title track are some of the band's best, and of course, their signature drinking anthem, "Blue Tequila." Henrik's voice seems to be mixed in a little low, as usual, though.

|Wow, I didn't know about this album until a few weeks ago! I bought 'Cool From the Wire' and 'Turn of the Screw' like almost 20 years ago and thought that they were the band's high point. I had no idea they came up afterwards with this killer album! I love all the fast paced tracks for their badass attitude, and what a great power ballad 'The Last Forever' is! It's great fun to listen to this awesome album.

|If you like AC/DC and Krokus then you would like this effort of DL...honestly i was not into this band(in fact this is the first album i bought from them and let me tell ya somethin',i do remember the fuss their debut album of 1988 did in the U.K) but after reading some good comments about this release i decided to track it down(got it second hand from a friend)well, yes,a pleasant raunchy Hard Rock/Rock And Roll undoubtebly...my fave ones are "Blue Tequila","Liquid Crush","Let It Rain","Five Easy Pieces"(great!),"Gas House Sally"(kick a**),"Hard In The Middle"(kick a**)& "Give It Back"....enjoyable release for sure...87/100

|I revisited this disc again and I stand by my original comments. It's too bad this didn't come out until late '92. I'm not going to pretend it would have been huge had it come out in '87 or '88, but the release date of 11/10/1992 virtually ensured that it wouldn't be heard. (They did do a live show on Z-Rock in '93, and the video for the title track did receive one spin on Headbanger's Ball, but that's it.) The thing is, that noticeable lack of good hooks that plagued so many of the non-singles from the first two albums is much less of a factor here. Dirty Looks has also never been all that good at ballads, but "The Last Forever" is at least decent. If I had to drop any song from the track list, "Liquid Crush" doesn't offer much. But the other 12 songs are all good to pretty damn good. This is hair metal with a scrappy, Rust Belt underdog quality to it.
