I continually laugh everytime I see 'David' post knowing it's KANDY ANDY from Australia!!! Haha That 'wish' list was a deadringer for anyone that's EVER discussed music with you!!! AND..you have the same IP address!! What's the name of that Lillian Axe song?? 'Psychoschizophrenia'?? Now...to stay on topic. This is a pretty good Indie. Not on the top of MY list...but it's pretty good nonetheless!! |
From: David | Date: July 30, 2004 at 20:06 |
I'll give you the tip JLPRocks, I'm certainly not Kandy Andy. That IP address is a VERY popular one here in Victoria. I would like you to name someone from Victoria, Australia that isn't with Bigpond?? You may know alot about rare indies mate but you don't know much about Australia. Doggy can back me!! To tell you the truth that Kandy Andy ripped me off last year for over a grands worth of cd's. You will also find plenty of people around the world with similar want lists. |

This sure is a good cd, dont think it sounds much like Sweet Lips, even so, if i had to pick one of the two, i'd go with Sweet lips any day of the week |

Riff from '2 young 4 love' is exact copy of KISS 'Lick it up'( not so strange if we take their name)...anyway this is nice disc but i miss here some more better melodies, they sound sometimes like Kiss( before 85 era)...i'm glad that i haven't paid for it 100$, this isn't worth that much... |

DR LOVE is a good french heavy rock band ! It's a power trio. I bought this cd for about 5 Dollars few years ago in France ! Music is similar to KISS, AEROSMITH and sometimes EUROPE. Sound is like Hard Rock 80's. Production is nice but not exceptionnal. The price now on Ebay is amazing !!! |

Good Hard Rock from French band Dr Love. Reminds me of Dokken with a bit of Ratt, Kiss and Aerosmith. The best songs are Do What You Want,2 Young 4 Love, Don't Hide In The Shadow and the awesome and best track I'm Not Waiting IMO. The rest of the songs are very average and a few fillers. The singer is really good but the highlight is the killer guitar playing. Rated 7/10 |

I found this to be pretty good, I like "Do what you want" and "I'm not waiting" the best. |

a couple of good ballads, nothing more... |
From: rick kerch vzla | Date: September 23, 2012 at 18:54 |
The ballads are ok especially the one that closes the album "How Many Times" apart from that some other good moments are "Hometown Star" & "Do What You Want-Sledgehammer Version"(both of a good rocking feel),"Do What You Want"(normal version),"Let's Light The Fuse","I'm Not Waiting" & "Day And Night Night And Day"...decent French band that sang in english and that as far as i know they only released this album...84/100 |
