For the die-hards fans only I'm afraid. Very laidback, very poppy. Not exactly bad, but it all lacks power.

Killer debut, this guy is one of the best vocalists on the planet. If you love Southern Sons, Rick Springfield, Planet 3 etc, you must own this. The follow-up "Tambourine Mountain" and his latest "Another Place" were just ok in comparison, but just listen to the stunning pure AOR of "Not a Day Goes By" and "Forever Me and You". Quite poppy, but brilliantly executed and amazing vocals. 8.5/10.

Beautiful, mature, perfect executed AOR. I wish every AOR disc has sound and production from this masterpiece.

Yes, it is very soft and it is very poppy, but aside from that it is really quite good. I also love 'Not a day goes by', the cover of 'Walk away Renee' is great, as well as 'Forever me and you' and quite a number of the songs here. If you like soft AOR with cool melodic hooks I would highly recommend it. Nice relaxed listening material. 7.5/10

Excellent all round if your into your soft AOR (which i certainly am). My fave on this has always been 'Church On Fire', although all the others ain't no slouches either. Also loved the follow up 'Tamborine Mountain' album which is also highly recomended.

This is the only Rick Price I own and I picked it up for next to nothing....I was umming and ahhhing about wether or not to shell out £3 for it. I'm bloody glad I did...it's a totally fantastic release and well worth your time if you like mellow AOR. Church on Fire is about the heaviest but as Jez sez (waheeyy rhyming) the rest are the songs are excellent too...my pick of the rest of them would be Not a Day Goes By , Heaven Knows and the beautiful closing ballad Fragile. Top stuff!

If you like Richard Marx and you are still not familiar with this cd, stop reading at once and surf immediately to some mailorder to order this cd ! This is pure, unadulterated, fluffy POP-AOR of the highest order. Not a bad song in sight. Incredible ballads and passionate vocals all over. Really something worth your money.

From: Whitesnake Date: September 14, 2007 at 2:56
His voice is sometimes too wimpy, but this is nice bluesy AOR/rock all the way. The two first songs are the best, but this is worth picking up. 8.5/10

Best songs for me: Whats wrong with You, A House divided, Not a day goes By, Church on Fire and my absolute favorite the ultra catchy Fooling Myself. Nice album. 80/100

Actually i've found this a very attractive release...the kind of albums that offer you at least a moment of joy...pop/AOR/Lite, who cares?!...the meaning is that has somethin' good ,the best tracks for me are six in a row (from #1 to #6)..."What's Wrong With That Girl" starts the album just pleasantly,"Not A Day Goes By" is simply wonderful!,great chorus and 4 sure the best of the album(it sounds like a total hit!),"A House Divided" is a highlight,a really good track,"Walk Away Renee" is a beautiful ballad,"Heaven Knows" is a catchy one & "Church On Fire" is just great!...the other left tracks have a nice feel too but nothing like the ones i mentioned...good voice, good songs...basically what we ask for is in here...94/100

Very much a pop album but the delivery means it is fine to be on this site. I got the limited 2 disc version for $1 recently. You can still find this in nearly every op shop that still stocks cds in Australia. It is so well written and produced. I can't listen to it very often cause it is sooooooo pretty sounding and I like a bit of grit. But I do admire it. Guy has a beautiful voice. Almost too good a voice if that makes sense.
