Not a bad album, but not their best. The production sounds awesome (what Elefante project doesn't?), but the songs don't hold as much interest for me. There is one funny bit at the end of the last track -- keep listening! |

I know i am one of the few people to say this, but i think Scarecrow is better than Snakes. Most Bride fans will tell you otherwise, but i think this album has more good songs than snakes. Favorite song:Time Least favorite:Murder |

Pretty forgettable stuff here. "Beast" & "Scarecrow" are O.K., but the other songs are so-so. This plays like a half-hearted, tired effort. But, then again, I think at the time Bride was tired of its association with Star Song. |

Awesome album that still sounds modern today. A good follow up to "Snakes". |

There's some albums I've sold that I wanted to piss on before I got rid of them because I disliked them so much... and then there are others that you appreciate they're quite good, but things just didn't work out and you have to get rid of it. This is the latter. It's a solid heavy rocking disc, not dissimilar to the 2nd The Brave CD... but no songs did it for me and I don't miss it at all. Christian bands really have to be quite special for me to hang onto them with those lyrics... |

Expectations were high for Bride after their awesome "Snakes" CD and they turned to top producers John & Dino Elefante to help them knock it out of the park, but instead they only managed to get to second base, coming up with a well-produced hard rock CD that's good but not as good as its predecessor. Still a keeper though, aggressive & crunchy, and almost anything Mr. Thompson puts his pipes to is worth picking up. Nothing to be scared of, nothing to crow about, just a good, solid hard rock CD. |

This is a great Bride album, for many this is maybe their last good offering. I'd say if you imagine a lighter Black Sabbath with much more gritty vocals this is what you get here. I think this CD is much better than snakes in the playground. |

pretty good release by BRIDE that could be better if the songs had catchy choruses!the musicianship is truly excellent and the vocals very strong and accurate!the approach isnt as commercial as it should but overall the result is strong and hard rockin!"beast" |

A good release with a Skid Row feel in the songs vocally and musically..."Murder" & "Doubt" are the best cuts IMO...tracks 1,2,6 & 11(cool)are also appealing ones...86/100 |
