| This truly IS one of the BEST compilations on ANY band that I have ever picked up! Really ALL their BEST material is on here. This is a great package for new fans, that haven't been introduced to the band's music. I recommend this one to anyone who is a fan of Hard Rock, don't let their image fool you, they guys were in the same league as MOTLEY CRUE & RATT, though never broke big! Pick this up! You will not be disappointed, I promise you. 10.0 on the SWINE SCALE!

| I agree with everything that SIXXSWINE said. All their original stuff is hard to find right now, so start with this cd. If this kicks your ass enough, go look for the other originals...but be prepared to pay out your ass for them. I have seen Nasty Nasty as far as $165 on eBay. It's pretty nuts, but if your a diehard fan, you'll pay it.

| Without a doubt one of the best purchases I ever made; over an hour of great kick ass rock the way it should be played!! Better than any Motley album ever put out!!

| Hate to disagree with everyone, but I'm not really blown away by this. Bought it after reading all the great reviews of the original albums, but it's not that great. Not bad, but seems to lack a certain something.

| A very good hard, melodic rocking band! And a good compilation of their best songs. Pretty much every one on here is good. This was a very talented group, alot of times under-rated. Great collection of their best stuff.

| Not too crazy about these guys myself, but for you fans out there-NEH Records is apparently re-releasing the original albums. So no need to blow huge money on Ebay. Hope this helps.

| I love the glam music, but here in Brazil is hard buy a cd when you find one is very expensive but I try to had great cds of alot of bands. When I sow the guitar of Black n' Blue with Kiss I'm downloading some song to now the band, I'm shoked with the song and buy this cd, its good when you now o new band . long live to glam rock

| The Talent of BnB. Tommy Thayer-now Ace Frehley in Kiss, and producer. Jeff warner-Owns his own studio and is a producer. Jamie St. James- Now singing for Warrent, and is a producer. Patrick Young-Played with Dokken,Ozzy,etc. Pete Holmes-Pat Travers, Ted Nugent, Yngwie Malmsteen. These guys are all still in BnB. The new CD 'hell ya' will be out in spring. I personally know each one of these gentleman. They are a class above the best.

| I just got this today. BnB were a band, much like Y&T (whom tey resemble sonically) that I missed out on, as they were just a few years before my time, and bythe time I got into hard rock, nobody w as playing them anymore. I've only given it one spin, and while the songs each are pretty good, listening to them all at once, I find myself getting bored along about halfway through. I need to give itmore time and a closer listen, I guess.

| I got to agree with Fizz, i can't listen to this all the way through without boredom hitting me. But i like most of the songs, but not at one sitting, maybe three or four songs than i'm looking for my ac/dc or doro cd's.

| This is the stuff. All the standout tracks are here. This is a very good "best of" album. Lots of good tunes and the tracklisting is worthy. A good starting place for a new Black and Blue listener. I do encourage them to not stop here. The rest of the catalog is strong. This is Jamie's band and he is a great frontman. 10/10

| I rank these guys with hurricane, Y&T, Lilliam Axe. They were nothing more than a B band at best. There songs just don't have the hooks to compete with the Motley's, Ratt, and the other bigger bands of the time. Don't get me wrong though, they did have some really good songs, hold on to 18 is great.

| Did someone just call Lillian Axe a B-band?? Wow, never heard that one before! To me Lillian Axe is the best band ever. Up there with Pink Cream 69, Firehouse and Bon Jovi before the new century. Motley on the other hand were the kings of writing two or three great songs and then 7 craptastic fillers. At least Black N Blue were consistant and most of their songs are good.

| Yeah, what's up with the slam on Y&T, while we're at it? Y&T in the same category with Hurricane?? I think NOT!! And the first few Black n Blue records just might be BETTER than Motley Crue's efforts post-"Shout at the Devil" (that one does deserve high praise).

| I have to agree with Kip, Motley is by far cemented in my top 10 bands of all time, they did put alot of fillers on their albums. Black and Blue on the other hand, put out stellar albums. Did they have fillers? Yes. I believe you can say that all bands do. It is inevitable. Jamie St. James fronts this band and holds it at the top. Right up there with the Crue and Y & T.

| yeah you got it right major "B" bands. I listened to this CD again the other day, and I wonder how they can call it a greatest hits. The liner notes are just excuses on why they didn't hit it big. The reason is they couldn't write very good songs. I love 80's metal, but there was alot of crap out there too.

| Ahh, now that's more like it!!! Finally, I can listen to a band I just love and not have to touch the skip button as every song her is just top notch!!! That's right Black N Blue fans, all the filler has been stripped away and you are left with nothing but the very best of the best. Every song here is a treat for the ears. This is kiler f*cking sh*t right here! Too many incredible songs to mention here. If you are an 80's metal fan, YOU MUST OWN THIS ONE!!!!!!!!!!

| Awesome compilation from a band that never really fulfilled their potential.For anyone new to the band I would say start with this release as it contains every classic tune the band recorded(all killer no filler)and has to rate as my fave compilation of all time(along side WARRANT`s Best of)9/10

| "Ultimate COllection" is an apt title for this disc: it has every Black 'n Blue song you need, and about eight you don't. BnB were already broken up (or nearly so, definitely near the bottom of the slide) when I got into metal as a kid, but I always heard people sing their praises and say how "underrated" they were. Well, they weren't. This is very "typical" mid-'80's hard rock, in the vein of same-era Kiss (not surprising, consdiering Gene Simmons's involvement with the band) or possibly Ratt and heavy Def Leppard, minus the flash and hooks. I'd say the disc starts out well and ends well, but in the middle, you get a string of songs that go from totally forgettable to downright crappy. In the end, I think they got as popular as they deserved to be back in the day.

| So yeah, these guys play a brand of straight-ahead hard rock that was popular in '85-'86, but probably sounded obsolete the minute Pppetite For Destruction came out. File along with Keel and Rough Cutt.

| excellent best of release by the very great BLACK N BLUE!the selection of the songs is accurate and of course the material is sensational!the info inside the cd is really useful for fans ,as it describes the history of the band since their school years!essential and enjoyable!
