I was at this show Halloween night 1997 in Portland, Oregon. It was the first time the band played together on stage in about eight years, and they rocked. Sure, their hair was a little shorter, or gone all-together {Woop}, but it was a great night none-the-less. Dan Reed, along with many other prominent Portland area artists from the 80's were also in attendance. Tommy Thayer rocked as though it was 1983! |

I just got this off Ebay. Good set list and a strong production. I was glad to finally hear Violent Kid, heavier than most of their other stuff. Their Live 1984 cd is also great if you can track it down. |

Probably one of the most under-rated bands of the 80's rock era. This is a great live record. I am usually not into live recordings but this really did capture the energy of the band. They hadn't palyed together in years and they banged out a killer set like they never broke up. If you dig the rock, you should buy all four of their studio albums as well. Totally worth every cent. |

Again, for the Diehard fans only. The boys had not been together for many years prior to this show. You could not tell. They all sound great. They sound like they are having a good time cranking out the tunes too. I am not a big fan of live albums and this one does not put me off. I still listen to it from time to time. It held alot of fans over until the Best of was released and finally the entire catalog. This one gets a 7/10 from me. |

I agree with Chad 100%. I am a diehard B&B fan and I could tell they had a great time doing this show not to make a ton of money but put it out there for the longtime fans. The live cd from 1984 is a show they did after there first record and "hold on to 18" hit big. It made me feel like I was back in high school again. Now I just feel old! |

Being a huge fan of this totally underated band, I was excited to get this one and it is a fun listen. The band is a little sloppy and Jamie has I'm sure sounded better, but the raw energy and feedback from the crowd is so positive and powerful and the band is having such a good time, that none of it matters. You are still delivered at great rock show by a great band. It might not be their best performance ever, but it is live and it is cool as hell. |
