If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Aerosmith CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Aerosmith are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

No need for this if you already own the albums. I would still reccomend bying either TOYS or ROCKS. Who on earth came up with the idea of putting REMEMBER with this great collection of songs? |

The sound of Aerosmith cashing in. |

You really want AEROSMITH best then you'd better buy the 1997 remastered version (SBM) : it features 17 tracks and a great sounds. The seven added tracks are : MAMA KIN, SEASONS OF WHITER, BIG TEN INCH RECORDS, LIGHTNING STRIKES, CHIP WAY THE STONE, SWEET EMOTION(1991 Remix) and ONE WAY STREET(LIVE). This is the same red package who is titled 'AEROSMITH's GREATEST HITS 1973-1988'... |

My main gripe here is the skimpy selection. Surely they could've pulled more than one song each from the debut, and two each from Toys and Rocks! Did we need the last two tracks here at all, even though 'Come Together' is now an FM radio mainstay? 'Remember?' Ugh! And why did they put on radio-edits of some of these songs, like 'Same Old Song and Dance,' with altered lyrics? Is this the original version of 'Sweet Emotion?' The '91 version was the first one I ever heard. |

Aerosmith doesn't rank as one of my favorite bands, but they do have some good songs. This is the first Aerosmith tape I ever owned, and I still listen to it on occasion today. If you're looking to pick up most of smith's good stuff, grab this one, 'Gems' 'Big Ones', and 'Nine Lives' and you should be set. |

Is this the original version of 'Sweet Emotion? No. The version of 'Sweet Emotion' on this CD is a shortened radio version that is missing the cool introduction. I can't believe 'Remember (Walking in the Sand)' was put on instead of 'No Surprise', 'Chaquita' or 'Three Mile Smile/Reefer Headed Woman' from Night in the Ruts. Also, were the heck is 'Train Kept A Rollin?' As of August 1996, this album has sold an amazing 9x Platinum. |

Only Aerosmith product I've ever owned. Not bad, but nothing special. I guess some of their albums are probably worth checking out, but not exactly high on my list of musical priorities. To be honest, the damn voice grates after (quite a short) while. :P |

Pure brilliance!!! A must have with the likes of "Back In Black", "Zoso", and "Sgt. Peppers". Get the point! Now go get one!!! |

I was 10 years old when this came out and it was my first taste of Aerosmith. It has stood the test of time with me. I have a lot of the albums that these songs came off of, but I still reach for this one. It has (IMO) the best parts of their earlier albums. I love Dream On, Sweet Emotion, Back in the Saddle and their version of Come Together. It's a great place to start for new Aerosmith fans looking to hear their older material. |

In all honesty, I'm not a big fan of Aerosmith's early stuff. Definitely a bigger fan of the 80's/90's stuff, so this collection doesn't do much for me. "Dream On", "Back In The Saddle", "Come Together" - all class. but the rest I don't care for too much. |

There's a reason this album topped the charts for FIVE YEARS STRAIGHT. It's an awesome mix and great for driving. I can't count how many copies of this I've worn out and as a little kid I remember EVERYONE had this tape! |
From: Doghouse Reilly | Date: January 14, 2013 at 20:36 |
The only knock on this one, really, is the edits on "Same Old Song And Dance" and Sweet Emotion." But topping the charts for five years? On what planet? |
