If you notice that a particular Firebird CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Firebird are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Excellent album! In some ways it remindes me of the Voodoo Highway album from badlands. Classic stuff...

Good music with a bit weak vocals. Not sure at all that Badland fan will go for it. I guess why you compare them but I'm afraid that people discovering this band with Badlands reference in their mind should be disappointed. Firebird is linked to the stoner movement, though it is too short to define them, it is not a Kyuss-like band at all but it is far from being related to Hevay us rock or so.

Yeah, I guess when you compare Bill Steer with the mighty Ray Gillen you will be disapointed.... But imho Firdbird are one of the few bands keeping the bluesy hardrock flame burning. A lot of people compare Bill's voice with Jack Bruce (Cream). There's a new firebird album comming out next year, can't wait. Make sure you also listen to Firebird's second effort; Deluxe, it's maybe even better than this one!
