Fine, not sensational AOR ! Not much pomp here ! Good to check it out if you don't know this one.

This is competent AOR at best. Andy Fraser is the ex-bassist from the classic rock band Free, best known for the song "All Right Now". Nice, lush keys swirl throughout the album giving it a nice, pop feel but never going over the top to join the upper eschelon of AOR bands sweeping the charts in those days. "Fine Fine Line" and "Branded By The Fire" are 2 excellent songs and a good way to start off the album. "Living This Eternal Dream" and "One Night Love Affair" are the gems of this album.

Very good aor album with some pomp elements, but it's not a pomp album. In my opinion it's similar to Ray Roper's album. ''Living This Eternal'' and ''Dream and Branded'' make this album more than typical mid 80s aor thing.

This is a poor album - not really a rock album at all. Listen to his 1st solo album 'Andy Fraser Band' for some real rock though theres no lead guitar - its all played on bass by Andy Fraser. Its a great album available on cd(2 on 1) with his 2nd album which is ok.

This is a Good AOR album, yes similar to Ray Roper(better than this IMO), el album es bueno un AOR fino casi la mitad de cortes anda en un plan pop que quiza no cale a los seguidores del AOR ami me pasa igual, ahora la otra mitad es la que vale con cortes AOR fino de buen gusto como Do You Love Me, Branded By The Fire, Fine, Fine Line, Million Miles Away, Night To Last Forever no esencial pero si un disco para tenerlo en cuenta.

Very overlooked at the time, which was a real shame, as this is a really strong album all the way. The only real filler on here is the cover of 'Do You Love Me' which is a bit pointless when compared to the rest of the songs on here. Other than that little blip, this is top top quality all the way from the very fine pairing of 'Fine, Fine Line' and album closer 'Living This Eternal Dream' and everything else inbetween. Just issued on CD for the first time through Yesterrock, so If you haven't heard 'Fine, Fine Line' before and like your Hi-tech AOR at it's best, then I advise you to take a chance on it, you won't regret it.

Cool album, pretty decent..Rycheage's comment about where did Andy come from is accurate, the man was the bass player of the band Free(a band that has a great vocalist in Paul Rodgers and where he nowadays have performed occacionally from time to time but he's completely involved with Queen(all)"right now" as the lead singer)...talking about Andy's album, well we have in here good songs surely..."Fine Fine Line","Branded By The Fire","Chinese Eyes"(catchy),"Night To Last Forever"(nice),"Danger" and "Living This Eternal Dream"(cool)...if u like good AOR/Pop songs then this would appeal to your senses...87/100.

The title track Fine fine line and the fabulous Branded by the fire are the stellar moments of the album. Impossible not to like those two songs!
