HELLZ YEAH! Probably my fav. soundtrack of all time. Killer metal for a killer horror flick ABOUT metal! "Don't stop the fight" and "if u could see" are great and totally embody the sound of that era.

The movie might have been cheesy in some parts, but the soundtrack was awesome. I had never heard of Fastway before this movie. I went out and bought all the cassettes I could find of them after this. The stuff they did after Dave King left pretty much sucked, but the other albums kicked ass.

I got this soundtrack on tape somewhere? I only listen to the first two songs. They both rock.

I love this album but a lot of that is based on nostalgia alone for me I'll admit. If you dig Fastway as I always have then there's nothing to complain about here. I ALWAYS see this cd at stores for only about 8 or 9 bucks and for that price it's MORE than worth it. "After Midnight" is just killer here and this album is a must have in that it was kinda Dave King's swan song in singing balls out metal. What a voice on this disc though!!

Killer soundtrack and a great cheesy "so bad it's good" movie. The movie has recently been released on DVD and I found it at my local Wal-Mart for about six bucks. You can't beat that with a stick! I hadn't seen it in about fifteen years and even though it's aged pretty badly it was still a great purchase because of the 80s high school memories it brought back.

THE BEAST 80'S SOUNDTRACK EVERY HARD ROCK FAN DREAM

"After Midnight" is one of the best tunes that Fastway ever put to tape. The whole album smokes. If you do not own this album, you are not a true metal fan. It is that good.

I agree w/ Chad...Fastway are a kick-ass band and this album is one of their finest efforts. No fillers - no fluff. Just smokin' & rockin' tunes all the way through. Trick or Treat, Stand Up, and If You Could See are bonafide classics of 80s hard rock. If you're a headbanger and don't have this - shame shame shame! Definitely worth whatever it costs....

Fastway's last ditch attempt at hard rock with their failed keyboard heavy "Waiting For The Roar" causing most fans to jump from the ship. Some of the new songs are excellent like "After Midnight" and they even throw two of their old classics in as well. Too bad Fastway fell apart after this. 8/10

Trick or Treat, After Midnight, Stand Up, Get Tough...Everytime I hear these particular songs it makes me feel like I can do anything. I'm not sure how it was that Fastway came about to do the soundtrack, but thankfully it happened. The movie kicks ass too - Sammi Curr forever!!!

For the most part the majority of soundtracks out there are just plain straight-up sh*t.However, there were a few that had balls and were actually worth shelling out $ for."Trick Or Treat" was definitely one of those. In my book this thing still sounds as good now as it did almost 20 years ago.Well crafted songs-More guitar driven and less keyboards.Add in a singer who had some serious pipes & -Bang !!

The harder side of Fastway!!!!,afterwards they went mellow. This album is considered their best and sure it has its moments!!!!.Reading some comments some of you guys prefer the guitar-chrashing sound rather than the keys and in my opinion Fastway always wanted to be an aor band. The problem is that the fans did not accept the musical change the did and it caused some prejudice around the band.Anyway good album.8/10

Adding more words to my old comment of 2007, Fastway did this soundtrack mainly with edgy hard rocking tracks because of the scheme of the movie and then went into the AOR territory completely(obviously the band flirted with AOR since record "Waiting For The Roar" in 1985)..."Trick Or Treat"(great one by all means!!!),"Don't Stop The Fight","Stand Up" & "Get Tough" are the best shots undoubtebly IMHO...a recommended album and movie(especially if you are an 80's freak ).90/100

Recently picked this up second hand on a whim and... just wow! How good is this soundtrack! I have never seen the film but I just love the music by Fastway. They don't make soundtracks like this anymore, but I wish they would. I think it especially works well because rather than being various artists, it is the same band for all tracks. Top stuff and well worth the $9 I paid. 90/100.

This has to be my favorite soundtrack from any movie. How many soundtracks have only 1 artist? Let alone all hard rock with no fillers. The movie "Into The Wild (2007)", which I loved even though Eddie Vedder did the entire movie soundtrack. This is a cohesive, well crafted album from start to finish. It perfectly portrays teen angst (me against the world rebellion). This was a B-movie for sure, with it's share of 80's cheese, but enjoyable. Gene Simmons has a small role as a DJ and Ozzy Osbourne has a cameo as preacher. I saw Fastway as kid open for Judas Priest as I recall on their "All Fired Up" tour. Fallen rock god Sammi Curr shows a ounce of image is worth a pound of performance (lip synching). As the actor who played Curr (Tony Fields) was a solid gold dancer in real life with acrobatic moves and stage presence. Something that ex-Motörhead guitarist Eddie Clarke and the other 2 band members largely lacked. Rock Candy reissued a remaster with a behind the scenes booklet in 2019.
