Anyone got a review on this cd? |

I just had the BEST CD day of my life at a local hole in the wall pawn shop!!! I got 2 originals of these as well as the VERY ELUSIVE and long wanted by myself NVS S/T, which is absolutely AWESOME!!! I have wanted this CD forever. Anyway, the boys of Worlds Apart show up here, very good disc of Hard Rock out of '93, which is better than some out of '89, which says a lot especially for an indie. The song 'Black Widow' is my favorite, but it doesn't end there, as there are like 4 other standouts. |

they play pop metel! If you are interested in danger danger, Trixter, warrent,You get. But one problem, sound production is bad! songs are better than so-so! |

Production isn't that bad (I mean, come on- it's an indie!), but, Kanji- you are right about the sound of World's Apart. Clearly in the arena of commercial pop metal. Add Firehouse to that list. One of the better indies out there. If there's any problem, it's the cheapo packaging. |

I got the CD last week from Perris and I have to say: it ain´t that good as I expected. It is o.k., but no highlight! |

This cd is really good.Catchy riffs, good remarkable hooks around a good production to be an indie. If you like bands such as Stryper and Sure Conviction it’s a must even if Worlds Apart are more metal oriented…They have a third release called'Day-job'but it's too much modern unfortunately.... |

Very solid commercial MHR....Title track, "Black Widow," and the ballad "Angel" are my faves. Production and packaging do hold this release back a bit, as mentioned above, but the songwriting and musicianship are excellent. 8.5/10 by my ear. Wish these guys had made more albums like this one........ |

pretty good this one and with much potential!th musicianship is truly excellent, the sound is ok but the vocs are not as hard rockin as they should be and there arent choruses that could push things further!the vocs remind me of Michael Sweet s sometimes but not so strong!overall this is good stuff though and especially the guitar work is remarkable!"black widow","do you remember" and "worlds apart" are the highlights of a band that was excellent on stage as i saw in you tube |
