| a great soundtrack to a not so great movie. it has classics like you shook me all night long, hell's bells and for those about to rock, as well as a few selections off fly on the wall, a cool instrumental, and of course an awesome opener, who made who. this album rocks

| I forget if I ever did watch the film 'Maximum Overdrive' but if I did, it must have not been that memorable. This soundtrack is a must for AC/DC fans but if you are not a huge fan, you are better off buying any of their studio albums instead. Six of the nine tracks are from various AC/DC records while three of them were new additions never before heard on any of DC's previous releases. The new tracks are the smash-hit 'Who Made Who' and the two instrumentals 'D.T.' and 'Chase The Ace'. 8.0/10.

| A crappy movie with a great soundtrack. There's no real reason for fans to buy this album though. There's an equally good version of 'Who Made Who' on the live album, and the instrumentals here are really nothing special. If you want a hits collection get AC/DC Live.

| You're misleading AC/DC fans; the instrumentals may not amount up to Joe Satriani or Steve Vai material, but that is not the point. 'D.T.' and 'Chase The Ace' still are pretty bad-ass tunes. And as for the title-track 'Who Made Who', it sounds COMPLETELY different on the studio record than it does on the 'Live At Donnigton' recording. Live, it sounds a lot more raw and to the point, but in the studio it has a completely different flair. REAL AC/DC fans should pick this one up.

I have to say that the instrumental 'Chase The Ace' has one of Angus Young's best guitar solo's EVER! I haven't heard him tear up a guitar like that since the song 'Kicked In The Teeth', off the Powerage album. Take a good listen to 'Chase The Ace' and hear what I am talking about.

| So many guys use to play this cd alot years ago and I have to admit (it ROCKS!!!) . . .Every tune is a classic to me and all I can remember from that time is all the guys had long hair,, blue jeans and leather jackets. . . 'softly sighs' . . . nowadays I see mostly guys clean cut and shaving their legs . . . . Where the hell did all the head bangers go?

| d.a.n69. Thats just the cool part of it.They never turned into a Grunge band, Never turned into Glam, never sold out. They just stick to what they believe in. Good old Rock'n Roll. Bands that do the same, are still alive and kickin' Motorhead, Saxon, Judas Priest, Metallica(Hmm), Iron Maiden,Mercyful Fate do the same..........And those bands are doing better than most bands around. Ironically, there are two voives on the album you refer to. But that doesnt make you Deaf does it.???

| I think it's a little bit of an uncoherent compilation. Yet it was a soundtrack to the Stephen King film Maximum Overdrive Don't know why he chose AC/DC. He probably thought heavy metal bands sing about horror and AC/DC is a heavy metal band. But a lot of heavy metal bands don't sing about horror and AC/DC certainly don't Stephen King misses the point that heavy metal is about rebellion and having fun not just about horror

| The reason Stephen King used AC/DC for the soundtrack wasn't because he was trying to make any comparison between horror movies and heavy metal. It is because he's a huge fan of AC/DC. A lot of people also think Who Made Who was meant to be a 'greatest hits' album but actually King himself picked out the 6 tunes because he liked them and wanted them on his soundtrack. The other 3 songs were written specifically for the movie.

| It's a soundtrack...it's a greatest hits compilation of sorts..it's a great collection of AC/DC songs. If you don't already own most of these on other AC/DC releases, this is a VERY worthwhile investment.

| AC/DC Melodic Metal?!?!?! I think Nay. AC/DC is pure Rock N Roll. The term Melodic Metal is more for Wasp, Judas Priest, Dio, Pink Cream 69 and those types of bands.

| This one drove right over me, backed up, drove over me, etc., until I was completely covered in blood. Very nice release from these guys. Perfect disc.

| Compilation with additional tracks to make it temptingfor owners of studio albums to buy. Six previously released classics and the excellent title track as one of the newbies make this a very good all round track. Don't klnow if I'd have paid full price for three new tracks though

| The movie sucked in a big way, but the soundtrack is pretty cool. An AC/DC best of sorts, as the set list is very eclectic to say the least and these are not the songs I would have chose for a best of, but it's not intended to be a best of. The fact of the matter is this simple. Stephen King is a huge AC/DC fan and asked if they would contibute a couple of new tunes to the movie and they said yes. He just decieded to fill the rest of the soundtrack with all AC/DC tunes as well. Worth having!!!

| i keep reading that this is a best of of some sorts it's nothing of the sort just songs steven king wanted on his first movie (and a shit one at that)and 3 new songs recorded 4 the movie the instrumentals are fine and what a great lead break from angus in chase the ace as for the title track it's so simple yet so brilliant the song put them back in the limelight again it sounds fresh still today and i thought brian's singing made the song it's simply a great album

This is a decent Soundtrack with some famous songs of the band redome for the occasion...tracks 1(a hit single),2(classic),4,6,8(a good rocking instrumental one)& (another classic)were the ones for me.84/100

| Telling that even though this is a soundtrack to a terrible Stephen King film "Maximum Overdrive", ACDC name the album Who Made Who after the new track (and great song that it is). The other new tracks DT and Chase the Ace are instrumentals but good listens. The other tracks are two from Back In Black, Hells Bells and You Shook Me..., two from Fly On The Wall, Sink the Pink and Shake Your Foundations, the title track from For Those About to Rock, and a single Bon Scott era track from Dirty Deeds, Ride On. In all, it is a nice little hits collection and none of the tracks are repeated on the other ACDC hits/soundtrack for Iron Man 2. Rating A.

| excellent collection of songs with 3 new ones for AC DC which are very good even though the 2 are instrumentals(!!!!)!great band all the way and Who Made Who became a classic as well
