If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular AC/DC CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from AC/DC are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

When I added this CD back in 2010, I added it as an AC/DC album and it got put in the soundtrack section, so it is now on the site twice. |

Unlike other classic rock artists, ACDC don't do hits albums (yet). Instead, they have released two soundtrack albums that basically do the same job. This Iron Man 2 soundtrack is a better overview of the band than Who Made Who but unlike Who Made Who it doesn't have new songs. Instead we get 7 tracks from the Bon Scott era, and 8 from the Brian Johnson (much longer but more patchy) era. There is the title track to TNT, the title track and Hell Ain't... from Let There Be Rock, Rock N Roll Damn ation and Cold Hearted Man from Powerage, the title track and If You Want Blood from Highway to Hell. Then the Johnson era gets 3 tracks from Back In Black, title track, Shoot to Thrill and Have a Drink..., Evil Walks from For Those About to Rock..., Guns for Hire from Flick of the Switch, Thunderstruck and the title track from The Razors Edge, and then from 18 years later, War Machine from Black Ice. With a few deep cuts and the tracks not being presented in order of release, this isn't definiti |

...with a few deep cuts and the tracks not being presented in order of release, this isn't definitive, but it is still mighty fine music and as close to a hits collection as ACDC have done to this stage. Rated A. |

This album was also useful to us here in the States because, at least at the time, "Cold Hearted Man" was a very difficult song to get ahold of. Nice mix of evergreen favorites and some deeper cuts. |
