Johnson's voice was good on this one, but it's only average.

From: TIM Date: April 26, 2002 at 3:23
I don't know about everyone else, but this is by far my favorite version of 'Dirty Deeds.' The original lacked sufficient firepower to me. I don't go for too many live albums, but I listen to this one often.

From: Desslar Date: April 26, 2002 at 4:09
Awesome live album, one of the best ever. Great to hear Brian doing some Bon tunes.

From: jason (FA - Q) Date: June 25, 2002 at 16:58
I have the collector's edition 2 CD set and thats the one to have! If you have the one disc than you are missing out. The other has 'Sin City', 'Fire Your Guns', 'Jailbreak', 'The Razors Edge', 'Thats The Way I Wanna Rock N Roll', High Voltage' and 'Let There Be Rock.'

From: jason (FA - Q) Date: June 25, 2002 at 17:02
I also have the Live Highway To Hell CD single. It has Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be-live bonus track on it that you can't get on this album or the 2 CD set. Let me tell ya, thats a great F'ing song!

From: jason (FA - Q) Date: June 25, 2002 at 17:14
The only thing about this album that disapoints me is that all the songs fade in and out at the beginning & end. It takes away from the live element.

From: Kozy & Nift Date: September 6, 2002 at 22:59
a great live cd..best version of Thunderstruck & TNT & Hway Hell..of course it's good ..what do ya expect from a great Aussie band

From: Great Dane Date: February 19, 2003 at 1:50
Good stuff, but I neverreally understood why they put it out in two versions. A single cd set and a double.

From: samolice Date: February 19, 2003 at 19:17

From: slashh Date: March 2, 2003 at 19:12
for those about to rock...man, what a song!

From: Mav3rik Date: March 12, 2003 at 4:58
Best bloody live album there is. And they sound so good that if you took away the live ambient sounds it would be like a studio version. The 2 CD set is the one to have.

From: rising power Date: March 24, 2003 at 1:14
Best live album ever even tops If you wan't blood. Two C.D's full of fantastic live songs

From: James Date: March 24, 2003 at 1:41
I thought this was a crap 'Live' album. the songs don't flow because they cut in and out like it was recorded in studio with the audience added in. that takes away from the whole feel of a 'live' album.

From: Junior Jackass Date: May 5, 2003 at 1:22
This was one great c. d. It's a must have c.d. If you don't got this c.d. get it, cause you missing out on the whole damn fun

From: chiro Date: June 11, 2003 at 23:18
this one is amazing!!!!!!some stupis said it was recorded in a studio!!!!man i got many rare live cds of ac/dc and sounds the same...i saw them live many times also...and i tell you that they sound great just like this cd

From: Great Dane Date: June 12, 2003 at 0:09
Chiro....It was recorded live, but afterwards all the bad parts were 'erased' and rerecorded in the studio. No bands release 'On the fly' recordings nowadays. Youre right Chiro, it is great, but really NOT a 100 0veshow. If you want that, go for the bootlegs.

From: jaffar AC/DC Date: August 28, 2003 at 10:56
i got the 2 disc set and it has a lot of AWESOME songs like thunderstruck, highway to hell, back in black, razors edge, fire your guns, etc. it is a really good live cd and you should definitly have it if your an ac/dc fan

From: roisin dubh Date: February 25, 2007 at 9:55
Classics from the 70's through to their more recent work, you know the songs, now you have them in a live setting. Does exactly what it says on the tin

From: hair metal again Date: May 28, 2009 at 9:13
i m gonna see them tonight live for their black ice tour so i listen to it again.i want to say that they are a great band, much respectable ,they have always been a serious influence for many bands but its kinda strange.i mean they always had a huge acceptance by rock fans who stay on the surface of music.if you dig more as i do the last 23 years into hard rock music you will find that ac dc is just a band that helps you in the beginning of your neverending travel.ok enough, i have to go now to hear the hells bells.ha ,ha,ha

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: May 26, 2013 at 15:19
Weird live album. Offered in a single- or double-disc configuration (and why would you settle for just one when you could have two?) The sound quality is great, although the crowd is mixed in fairly low for a band that plays in huge stadiums. The individual songs are all great, but they're presented like a collection of singles, rather than a flowing, cohesive live concert. Seventeen of the twenty-three songs (on the double-disc set) are offered as isolated songs, fading in at the beginning and back out at the end. The other six songs are come in pairs. Brian Johnson sounds ... well, like Brian Johnson, but gives the Bon Scott songs his best shot, but even in '92, he was starting to sound a bit rough. For the good sound and track selection, you must have it (and you know which version you need to get), but for the best live AC/DC, I'll take the 1979 Towson, Maryland, bootleg, thank you.

From: Doug Date: May 28, 2013 at 16:46
I got this when it came out in '92. I think it’s hard to comment on it, 20 years later, because unless you live in a cave, we've heard all of these songs SOOOO much over the years that they are in our subconscious. At the time I thought it was okay. For me Brian Johnson's songs are great and Bon Scott's were great. Put together, hmmmm... Not sure that if Bon Scott was still around post '80 he could pull off songs Johnson has done. Hard to say?

From: 123charpenay Date: May 30, 2013 at 12:33
