Secret Sphere are trying hard to be a multifaceted act, but in doing so they draw attention away from what they do best, which is the power/prog melodic metal style. The band seem most comfortable and at their best when combining power and prog, which is exactly what they do on the tracks 'Surrounding' and 'Desire'. It's a pity that the quality of songs such as '1,000 Eyes Show' and the amazing 'More Than Simple Emotions' isn't carried throughout the whole album. Good but uneven throughout.

I've got the first and second release of Secret Sphere, and I just got their new album. And after listening to it I was totally blown away. This cd ROCKS!!!!!. I would recommend anyone who likes prog/melodic metal to buy this cd. This band gets better with each cd they put out. What more can I say? BUY THIS CD you won't be sorry.

Great disc, a little different from their previous album, and miles away from the speed power debut Mistress Of The Shadowlight.
