THIDS BAND ROCKS ITS FAST AS LIGHTINING ,.. ROCK ON RAZIO'S

From: Cephas Date: April 20, 2002 at 18:48
I've gotten 3 Whitecross CD's: This one, 'In the Kingdom', & 'To the Limit'. (Only 'To the Limit' didn't suck.) There are, perhaps, 3 or 4 good songs in this effort. Otherwise, Whitecross is - Carroll's guitarwork aside - ho-hum boring. (BTW, instrumental tracks just don't impress me.) The tempo for each song is basically the same with little variation in speed. Whitecross plays middle-of-the-road Hard Rock: Not too fast, not too slow. Not too great.

Whitecross had all the qualities of an 80's rock band, kick-ass vocals, blazing guitar work and a full production sound. Whitecross possibly did not write the best lyrics, but they certainly are not bad, compared to the other bands like poison etc who were writing lame lyrics about girls dancing around in bikinis. At least the lyrics were genuine and written from the heart, not crap satanic lyrics written for the sake of making money.

I did buy this cd, and itīs the most amazing production of Whitecross I had never listened some like this itīs the pure war guitars.

What the F... does that mean.??

From: Phil Date: January 17, 2003 at 18:51
Whitecross is a great band that tries hard to glorify God and spread the wonderful news of Jesus Christ to the world. I personally thank God for their ministry and enjoy their uplifting Christian lyrics.

From: 666 Date: January 17, 2003 at 20:22
Fortunate is God to have Whitecross on his side, for surely our dark lord and true master, Satan would be ruling this island earth by now if not for those meddling kids. We'll get you next time God!!! Watch your back.

From: Poison Arrow Date: January 17, 2003 at 23:01
Haha too funny. Whitecross rock, but the bible bashing lyrics are a bit cringeworthy. Kinda like having a really cool electronic toy without any batteries. Oh well.

From: Steve F. Date: February 8, 2003 at 22:12
I didn't like this release as much as the first album, but came to appreciate it a lot more. Aside from a few boring songs, it's probably got some of Rex's best guitar work ever.

From: drewman202 Date: April 14, 2003 at 18:09
Whitecross is just cool. What can you say about Rex Carrol? He rules! Scott Wenzel has a cool 80s metal voice. The only song I don't care for is the sappy ballad. Other than that, super stuff. Favorite Tracks: When The Walls Tumble Down, Take It To The Limit, When The Clock Strikes.

From: Henry Vain Date: August 3, 2003 at 9:05
This is a message 4 all you nerds and satanlovers who dare to say anything bad about the great rockin metal sound of whitecross. You just don't now what you're talkin about, playing like that is a gift from God. Do you relise how long i'm busy playing guitar to learn 1 lick of the mighty solo's of whitecross. So before all you nerds and satanlovers wanna spit over whitecross again, try to play 1 of those increadible licks, if ya can't play it, just shut your face. God bless...

From: christrocks777 Date: October 3, 2003 at 13:49
Thats it Henry Vain, show those idiots that they're on the wrong side. In the end you'll see whose right. One of my fav.Whitecross albums....my fav.track is when the clock strikes....For those who dont feel anything when listening to the songs...get Jesus. Whitecoss rocks......Peace....and God bless.

I have loved this record from the day I got it. I actually think this was the reason i started to play the gitar, and even today I play it to get inspiration when I pick up my gitar. It`s just great!

From: Impaler Date: February 22, 2004 at 11:54
Better production than the first album paralleling Ratt's improvement in production fron 'Out Of The Cellar' to 'Invasion Of Your Privacy'. Great for fans of Ratt & Dokken. Guitar work is again incredible. Unfortunately the first couple of songs or boring and they feel the need to include a horrible ballad for crappy Christian radio play. Otherwise this is a great album.

From: ikheshe Date: March 3, 2004 at 12:24
i love white cross...the way their songs are too good,if i had a band then i`ll sing like the white cross did...their songs really inspires me...say 4 eg-No other love, home in heaven, window, behold,no second chances, walk with me,love is our weapon, simple mann, angel disguise etc are the best gospel songs that i have ever heard in my life...i wish i could let the world know about the whitecross`s songs and lyrics...

i like so mucho the song WALK WHIT ME .. GOD BLESS ALL !! METAL 4 JESUS !! LONG LIVE THE KING

From: the game Date: June 25, 2006 at 17:27
Excellent 2nd cd by Whitecross. Has that early classic Ratt and Motley Crue sound. Scott Wenzel vocals are awesome with Rex Carroll's razor sharp guitar solos. My favorites are When The Walls Tumble Down, Take It To The Limit and When The Clock Strikes. Rated 8/10.

From: Zze Date: November 1, 2007 at 15:39
excellent hard / heavy CD. some songs come closer to the 'metal' ( Top of the World , Resist Him ) stuff while others are filled with bluesy hard rock attitude ( Because of Jesus ). the talents of Scott Wenzel and Rexx Carroll are shown on full potential here. I'd compare this to Scorpions, altought I dont know if this comparsion matches ...

From: rockhardrock Date: February 10, 2011 at 7:41
this being my second album I've heard by Whitecross.great positive lyrics also on this record.very good sound and talented guitar riffs. my faves here: walk with me and take it to the limit.

From: skonci Date: May 31, 2012 at 8:32
the last thing I've noticed here on this album and very important in comparrison to their debut is better Mark's drumming.I think that they made a small step back from straight forward lyrics about our Lord if you compare these lyrics with the lyrics on their debut album.but eventhough this is another great album by Whitecross.Song You're mine has more beautiful lyrics and more straightforward than Walk with me,but musically the ballad on this record is a winner.my other favourite tracks beside this power ballad:tracks 2.,3.,4.,8. and 10.God bless all!!!

From: hair metal again Date: August 24, 2021 at 9:42
excellent release for WHITECROSS back in 88 with a sweet hard rock sound somewhere between RATT,DOKKEN,KILLER DWARFS &STRYPER !everything a 80s hard rock fan seeks is present and Hammer & Nail is a much underrated one!"living on the edge","when the walls tumble down","take it to the limit","because of jesus" and "when the clock strikes" are fine songs indeed!recommended
