| This new album includes the 3 songs from the EP also titled “Fear No Evil” (2022) with the same singer, David Roberts. First, I'm not a fan of the current singer as his raspy voice sounds strained (worn) on the harder edged tracks. My favorite Rex Caroll band would be 'Fierce Heart' as his guitar work and singer Robert Reynolds shines on "War for the World (2020). I was a modest fan of some early Whitecross albums. It's been almost 20 years since the original singer Scott Wenzel (poor man's Steven Pearcy) sang on the band's last release, Whitecross S/T (1987) re-recording of the debut "Nineteen Eighty Seven (2005)". He did a good job with the beefed up production, but with the hands of time I guess he wasn't a option for this release. This is not bad, just nothing really grabs me on this album bouncing between rockers and an acoustic odyssey.
