'Passion and Pain' showcases the formidable talent of Crimson Rain. The results are very impressive, bringing back memories of Mitch Malloy and the lighter moments of Tyketto. They grab your attention with 'More Than You Need'. A radio friendly mid tempo track with a great chorus. They absolutely rock on the excellent melodic tune 'Coming Around Again'. This track oozes 80's/90's melodic hard rock and belies Crimson Rain's age. A worthy addition to any CD melodic rock collection. 9.5/10.

Had this one for awhile and just gave it another spin. It does bring back memories of the late 80's with their style of up-tempo melodic rock. Better than a lot of high-priced indies you see offered on ebay these days.

While I liked a few tracks on this one it seemed a little too modern sounding for my tastes. No doubt they had talent but I just couldn't get that interested.
