Waheyy another Streetheart to review. This is yet another excellent band release. They are a very individual sounding bunch and are kind of overlooked outside of Canada which is a great pity. The gutars are nicely to the fore on the title track and Go To Hell is a nice track to play if your pissed off with someone. Tin Soldier is a Small Faces cover and is reasonable enough. Sold Out is another nice angry song. Great guiatars/keyboard/vocals/songs from Canada's hidden treasure. |

Nick C.-what bands would you compare these guys to? It's much easier to get an idea of a band's sound that way. |

It's not easy really they just have their own kind of sound. Possibly Honeymoon Suite sound a little like them on their first album on some tracks (Funny Business and New Girl Now) but Streetheart really never had the same sound twice on any of their albums. But all the albums have a kind of off the wall feel...that Canadian quirkiness that only Canadian bands seem to have. Sorry if this doesn't help but I can't pin their style down to anyone in particular... |

....although Paul Dean was in them they don't sound like Loverboy...and not as far "out there" as Max Webster or Mannequin. Who can give a description of Streetheart....Can anyone out there help?? |

Yeah, how to describe the style of this unique act ? ! Such a difficult question, Nick C ! Typical canadian, something between indeed Honeymoon Suite, Loverboy and Harlequin, but then still not the same ! Anyway, they have a unique sound, and I like the band very much. This one is out on CD now. Good CD, good band ! |

"Teenage rage" reminds me of Loverboy's "The kid is hot tonight" a lot. Nice record . Ken Sinneave now plays for Loverboy -replaced the late Scott Smith. |
