"Backstage Bombers" is the ideal FUN Rock n' Roll song.It makes your feet MOVE!"passion" is the BIG hit too!I think this band had their own "touch".The voice of Desi Rexx is pure candy(sometimes sweet, sometimes raw)and the guitarist can play a good solo! What I would do to hear a new D'MOLLS album?! (Who knows, maybe some day...)

Pretty much your textbook glam band(check out those names). Not much depth in the lyric department, but this is a fun album to listen to. They don't make 'em like this anymore.

I picked this up in a pawn shop cheap, but I was sceptical since I thought their s/t release was junk, but this one is incredible! everything I heard it was. great find, get it when you see it, usually is very cheap, but worth far more musically.

the album has a few good songs. it is a vast improvement of the first. the ballad is decent too. they seemed to remind me slightly of warrant. i got a cutout copy from a local music store. unless you are a big fan of the band paying more than $8.00 is a little too much. matt

i bought this cd on ebay a while back, never having heard it before, and actually, i was pleasantly surprised! The songs are a bit on the glam side, but pretty catchy. "Backstage Bombers" is a great song, so is the ballad on side one.

What happened? After the first release and its loveably trashy strut, the band tripped and ended up in bed with Enuff Z'nuff or something. This is formula that I wouldn't put on the end of a spoon for a hungry infant.

alright!!!!this is a very cool disc..never had the attention it deserved..i just love the songs 'my life','down to nothing' and the excellent and touching 'ballad': 'take a walk with father time' ... strong album

From: Rocker76 Date: November 17, 2003 at 15:53
I found this in a used bin for $8.00 and took a chance on it. Boy did I luck out! This is a great album. Puts you in the mind of Poison meets Every Mother's Nightmare. "This Time It's Love" is just as good as any other ballad from this era of hard rock. And the guitar work is pretty kickin'. Don't let the "sleaze" label dissuade you - this is good melodic rock in general...Definitely worth $8 if you find it.

IMO this is much better than the debut. 'This time it's love' is a wonderful ballad and 'Centerfold girl' is what glam rock was all about. Absolutely killer song and easily the best they ever recorded. Overall, a good glam disc. Good to see them sounding alive after a dull debut, IMO.

important hair metal release by the molls ,under the guidance of kevin beamish.the result is big, their sound terrific and the songs catchy and sleazy.listen to "on'n' on"."this time its love", "centerfold girl" and "backstage bombers".excellent party feeling,it makes you wanna dance,i guess thats what music is all about.thanks guys there s no such thing anymore.big thumps up for D MOLLS

From: steve72 Date: January 22, 2012 at 1:50
A worthy follow up to their self titled debut. The best thing about this album is that although nothing much changed style & sound wise, the quality songwriting keeps it fresh. Desi vocals are as pure as ever. Whilst never overplaying his hand S.S Priest sprinkles his flair over each number giving us the shit we love. In 'This Time it's Love' & 'Father Time' they have two great ballads. 'Backstage Bombers' is the jewel in this crown though.

From: 80srocker Date: April 23, 2014 at 7:56
I love this album for being authentic glam rock (a bit of original 70s glam in here) with a hard rock edge and for having an unpolished production. Favorites are "Real Love" and "Down T' Nothin'".
