Easily one of the top 5 albums of all time, the writing is sharp, the instrumentation is phenomenal and the vocals are sheer brilliance!!!!!!!!!!!!

From: FABIEN Date: July 13, 2001 at 15:40
there's more than meet the eyes with this band!behind the fantasy/fun lyrics, you can see the personnality of the singer, behind the glammy "clichés":it's POETRY!I got a great souvenir with the song "hi and low";i remember listening to it in wintertime,by a frozen lake, with nothing but trees all around and snow falling on my head: PURE EMOTION!

From: xmpllll Date: August 3, 2001 at 8:43

Tacky as all hell, but somehow very listenable sleezeball glam. "777" sounds like a sequel to Billy Squier's "The Stroke". "All I Want" is a lot of fun.

From: Peter Date: April 7, 2002 at 14:45
Another one of those overlooked classics. These guys had not only the image (which they unfortunately toned down on their second platter),the atitude but most importantly the songs. They combined pure bubblegum glam rock with an Aerosmith style vibe. And yes the lyrics are pure poetry! I wish they would get back together.

From: Andre Tekken Date: July 26, 2002 at 9:25
Sorry guys but I'm compeled to say that this is an extremely week album! The worst self-proclaimed pro musicians I've ever seen!!God, this drummer must be in the kidgarden of drummers! Not exiting, very boring album!I just can't imagine how these dudes got a record deal!!Also the art work and sleeve design are cheap!!I hardly do NOT advise you to buy this record!

From: Andre Tekken Date: July 26, 2002 at 9:33
To complete what I was saying,I'm not an anti-glam!If you people want to listen to real quality glam bands, try :Pretty Boy Floyd,Tigertailz,Vain and BangGang! You will see some great musicianship and great compositions! Not this ridiculously week band!!!

Excellent debut album loaded with sing along choruses and killer hooks. These guys had a unique sound compared to other glam bands of the day.Does anyone know what any of the former members are doing these days???

Hey, Vic, whatever!! how could you compare D'Molls to Tuff or even Poison? I bet off from their original instruments, the guys in D"Molls kick the crap out of P&T on their instruments. Have you heard Warped? There is no one in either Poi or Tuff that comes close to D'Molls wall of sound. if this album got released properly, it would of buried everyone in the 80's--including Motley Crue!

From: Kristian Date: September 24, 2003 at 19:08

From: Uusiolli Date: August 3, 2004 at 5:40
For those who said this is a good album. Have you listened it? Do you know any other bands? Whnw I listened this first time I started laughing. I thought this is a joke like Spinal Tap or Bad News. Every song has parts taken from some betterknown songs. Influences are so clear that it's copying. Well these boys have found the truth of their potential and are now playing with backing bands with other has beens. 777 was the most boring song.

From: Bryan Date: August 4, 2004 at 18:10
You obviously don't like glam rock,Uusiolli. So what if it has noticeable influences in it? Tons of bands do the same. D'Molls were a great glam band at the time and this album is a classic with killer hooks and catchy choruses. It's a fun album that will take you back to the good ole days of 80's hairbands. Singer Desi Rexx sounds like Vince Neil in some songs,an added bonus. Ignore Uusiolli and grab this CD if you are lucky enough to come across it. You won't be disappointed.

From: FRATELLO Date: September 6, 2004 at 8:01
D'Molls is one of the best glam bands ever. Just listen to "D'Stroll" and you realize how a glam band should sound!!!!!

From: Geoff Date: September 6, 2004 at 20:19
As a big glam / sleaze fan I must admit I never got into this one. I much prefer the second release and just filed this under, boring, hookless and featureless albums - no killers for me, like 'Centerfold girl' off the next one. No, this one left me very bored...

From: FRATELLO Date: September 9, 2004 at 4:27
Geoff, the second album even better, agree, but this one is very good to. If Aerosmith was born in 80-s, they'd sound like this. And Desi's vocal's very strong, soulful and.....glamy!!!

From: Dean Date: September 9, 2004 at 10:00
I gotta disagree with you guys when you say the second one is better because my response was completely the opposite. I loved every tune on this one but only a couple of tunes "This time it's love" and "Father Time" really grabbed me on the second one. "D'Stroll" and "Action" were two of the coolest tunes to play in my band at the time. "Hi and Lo" was also another cool glam tune.

From: FRATELLO Date: September 22, 2004 at 7:08

Top 40? Regg. you might want to think about checking where your own head is at. I saw the new line up at Metalfest last year and they were pretty damn heavy plus SS WAS in the band on guitar.

Killer 40's GLAM! HA HA! Love the feeling of this album, F.CKING RIPS! Killer openers, KILLER ballad, one of the best of all time in my books- Hi 'n' Lo- I've read nothing but great things about the old live shows as well, wish they coulda scored huge. RIP IT UP!

Thought "777" was a killer tune, thought the rest kinda sucked. Sorry just one man's opinion people.

After another listening I can say this is catchy and pretty good, maybe the second one is more for my tastes....

there are gems on this album, but also there are fillers or shall i say there are more fillers than gems. overall this album is an average one, it didn't attract me. fav songs: Seven Seven Seven, D'Stroll (i love this song) and Supersonic.

D'molls came along more or less in the same time like bands such as Tuff,Vain,Pretty Boy Floyd and so on...this album has some mix of Poison and vocals ala Seb Bach(Skid Row) from time to time but without the grace of the mentioned one..."All I Want" is a cool track that i really liked along with "Rally Baby","Supersonic" is my personal fave,"D'Stroll" is a very good one,"All Night Long" rocks, another fave...nothing to kill for honestly but neither a completely waste..there are thousands of better bands than this even though this name is a reference somehow in the glam circuit.82/100

You have to be in the right mood to listen to this style music. While they are good at what they do it is not to everyone's liking. Considering some of the crap released in the late 80's this is one of the better ones.

Worth it for 'All I Want', '777' and the heartbreaking 'Hi n' Lo' alone. Even though there may be what some may consider "filler", i consider them "good album tracks", by no means is there a "bad" song in the bunch and I'll never skip a song. The band had a unique style & brash sound of their own. I really like S.S. priest guitar work too... Essential listening!
