These guys rock! Not sure who they sound like, but PICTURES sounds very much like VH. I believe they're based somewhere around Lake Geneva, WI-think I worked at the same company as one of the band members a few years back (bass player, maybe?). This is quality stuff for an independent label release, and they're a ton better than a lot of bands that got signed. Not sure if they're still even together. Anybody with info on the band, let us know. |

Very surprised to see only one comment here, that's a killer release to be an indie. There aren't really only killer tracks but totally I can consider one of the best indie cd like production and songwriting.Tracks like"black and white","levitate"are simply amazing,or the polished"atomic love".If you like bands as Skid Row,Falcon Scream,Sven Gali or Shot gun Wedding that's a cd for you.One of the finest indie productions indeed.Great band. |

Unknown killer guitarist in this band. Can be put along side Bettencourt, Lynch & Timmons. Yes, he is that good. |

Now I know who to compare this band to. In their more serious songs, they sound like Tyketto. In their more rockin', party style hard rock songs, like Roxy Blue. Except that the guitarist here (again) can blow the guitarists of both of those bands'. |

sensational release by SHUT UP &DRIVE ,a killer indie from start to finish with astonishing guitar and great vocs !imagine a mix of TESLA,FLAME and a bit of SVEN GALI and you ll have a picture!no big songs ,but amazing as a whole ,this one is essential for die hard fans of the genre! |

Killer hard rock/glam indie that is tough to compare. For me, I imagine a mix of BRIGHTON ROCK meets SKID ROW or GYPSY ROSE with a heavy dose of SLIK TOXIK. |
