The first STRANGER album is much better. The name of that album is THE BELL from 1985 and that is one of my all time favorite SPEED METAL records. This one is a melodic hard rock album but not a very good one in my opinion. Or maybe its because i love their first album much more. |

STRANGER's second album features a different lineup and a different style than the first one, thus they can't really be compared. "Pretty Angels" is a fantastic AOR-meets-Hardrock disc with great late 80's keyboards and dripping with melody. Amazing stuff! Very rare on CD, though, as many records from the GAMA camp. Too bad their first album never made it onto CD (everybody who likes it should check out early CHROMING ROSE efforts: it's the same singer!) and their third was never released at all |

I actually think this is quite a good melodic hard rock album. Good songs, professional approach and a nicely executed release. Yeah, good solid stuff. |

Hohoho One of my favorites Melodic Hard Rock/AOR albums, simplemente genial un disco que personalmente recomiendo tenerlo Hard Melodico cruzado con AOR inyectado de buenos teclados una delicia de album Pretty Angels, Heartbeat, Now You've Gone, Fighting For Your Love, How Will I Know 5 joyitas deliciosas, disculpen que lo diga pero hay gente "tonta" que no diferencia la Magia de la Brujeria el Bien del Mal el primer disco es un buen disco plan metal pero por favor no compares este. |

According to founder/songwriter/lead guitarist Rikki Rieger, there will be an official re-release of this album "Pretty Angels", including bonus tracks, on Pure Steel Records in mid-2011. So stay away from the cheap bootlegs out there and wait for the real thing. |

Very pleasant AOR release...with catchy songs typical of the commercial side of the genre and a vocalist that fits perfectly for it(Steve H)...the best track of the album IMO is "Fighting For Your Love" followed by these goodie ones "Pretty Angels","Now You've Gone"(solid ballad),"I Surrender" & "Is This Love"(nice)...enjoyable...88/100 |

very good hard rock release for STRANGER with a strong dose of keys and remarkable songwriting!the musicianship and the vocals arent of the highest level but there is a lot of soul into the songs and overall this is quite solid!"is this love","fighting for your love" and "now you ve gone " are the highlights |
