I had the pleasure of rocking out to these cats for a couple of years when they were playing around the south bay area and Hollywood clubs. Not only are they a hard-rocking outfit, their guitarist Chris Kemphert is a shred-machine firing off hot licks galore and melodic solos as if he had the ghosts of Schon, Schenker and DiMartini flowing through his nimble fingers!!!!!!!!! Brash 'n Roll!!!!! |

This cd was never released. Chris Kemphert is the guitarist of the old Hollywood band Chalet. I don't know who submitted this album here but I would love to know how they got this cd??? |

David, I submitted this CD. I picked it up on Ebay probably about 2 years ago now, and the Chris Kemphert/Chalet connection never even clicked when I submitted it. It's a silver pressed CD, copyright 1994, and "A Brash Production". The covers are professionally done (you can see the back cover pic here: http://www.thelabyrinth.com/clients/cd_covers/brash_band.html ) and the front insert is chock full of credits, pics, and lyrics. Can't stand track 2, but the rest is well done sleeze/glam rock. |

I also have this original cd, so it sure was released, enjoyable cd, some tracks remind me a bit of love/hate - not too rare, shows up from time to time on ebay and goes pretty cheap |

Coming across like a low-rent Love/Hate, this band offers nothing that makes this CD worth owning. If all you need is hard guitars to enjoy an album, then maybe this will work for you, but if you're looking for anything remotely resembling a good song, look elsewhere. I'd rather have cigars put out on my nads than listen to this crap again (OK, minor exaggeration there, but you get the idea). Some bands sound like a punch to the face...these guys are more like a slap in the face... |

Wow, thats pretty harsh there sevens, but to each his own. I actually know/knew these guys and was Chris' tech for a while. Funny that the Love/Hate resembelence was mentioned because Rodney ( voacls ) was actually a founding member of Love/Hate . He played drums back when they were known as Joshua Tree. |
