Not as good as their previous two - production is great but the hooks are not there. I thought they would've done a bit better - loved 'Utopia'.

this a definite metal disk, good stuff along the Dokken/Grand Illusion/Frontline/Eclipse lines, although a melodic metal cd. My favs are the lighter more melodic metal tunes, Cross my heart, You won't see me, Follow the stars, Goes around, All, Gone with the wind. A good one!!!

Do you like Million and Shylock? If you answer yes, then own this. I'm not sure which is their best release as all 3 albums are good, but none are brilliant. This is very solid melodic metal, and 'Picked up my peices' is my fave here, with 'All that I wanted' a close second. But none of these tracks are absolute killers, even if none of them are even remotely bad. Very solid, but not spectacular. Another very good release from a very good band.

THIS BAND IS TIGHT THEIR PUTTING OUT GREAT MUSIC.

From: z4roxx Date: November 7, 2006 at 12:46
Finally after horrible singers from Scandinavia, one of the finest voices in the last years,Pelle Anderson makes this band greater than their already good music.Singer is very important, please Pelle go to sing with Locomotive Breath, musically one of the greatest bands ever but with a riducoulus singer, not hard feeling man but your voice is horrible!

From: aorteto Date: November 7, 2006 at 18:36
This is (IMHO) their more consistent work. UTOPIA had 4 great songs and the rest were average DOKKEN style . This one hasn`t got any filler, and songs CROSS MY HEART, WON`T SEE ME CRYING and FORTUNTELLER are really great if you are fan of melodic rock with balls. If you like this band, try VANESSA

From: z4roxx Date: November 12, 2006 at 11:57
Their debut is good? When you mentione Vanessa,do you mean to Italian band or a cd of 1995 I think?Maybe they are german or swedish??!

From: aorteto Date: November 13, 2006 at 12:08
To z4roxx - VANESSA from SWEDEN on LONG ISLAND RECORDS, do you know this band ?, and SEVEN WISHES - S/T is not that good, just average hard rock record, but it worth if you find it cheap.

From: z4roxx Date: November 24, 2006 at 15:35
Unfortunately I did find Vanessa(s.t.?)in a used shop for few bucks but I didn t know them at the time.If I’ll find again a copy I’ll grab it immediately!!Thanks anyway

From: aorteto Date: November 24, 2006 at 17:19
To z4roxx: do you want a VANESSA copy? email me at``aorteto@gmail.com`` I think it`ll be very hard to find an original copy, so, you know...

From: z4roxx Date: December 18, 2006 at 13:42
It’s evident the Love Child comparison(even if T.Westgard here is the only one of the original line-up)but I think they’ve forgotten a Swedish band in their thanxream Evil. They have taken more from that band IMO and they had to say thanks to them for inspiration.Again:Pelle Anderson is the best singer since a long time besides Michele Luppi(Vision Dive,Mr.Pig)and Niklas Insfeldt(Eisst,PureX,TOC(Throne of Chaos)and Dream Evil).

From: z4roxx Date: December 18, 2006 at 13:42
If the songs were all like”Goes around comes around”and”See through the lies”maybe this could be the best cd in the last 6 years. What a great bass performance here,Love Child’s touch will rules forever!

From: z4roxx Date: March 1, 2009 at 11:07
What a band,a shame the last comment here is from myself 3 years ago.Best swedish melodick metal band in the last 10 years indeed, the greatest and rightest metal evoltion with an awesome personality and originality. Not a single average or generic moment, awesome singer(one of the best ever)and musicianship too, especially the bass player, the only survivor from the Lovechild(RIP guys, you were great).Buy this discs, not the awful reunion business album of entomed bands
