Vocalist Angelo Grassi is a dead-ringer for Peter Strykes from 1st Avenue and in general Eva do have a very similar sound to the Dutch group which bodes well. Eva's sound is driven by a combination of Andrea's stabbing riffs/sweeping solo's and Stefano's silky keyboards. In addition to those already strong points are the super smooth choruses. Just listen to opener 'Angel' and the vibrant 'Holdin' On' for perfect examples.

excellent italian smooth aor very well played and delivered.not all the songs are high class but they're just a couple that might turn a few eyebrows for sure.next time 'round it would be good to see them rock a bit harder!...i'm sure it won't do 'em any harm.

Good AOR cd in the vein of First Avenue as said above . Good vocalist, lots of keyboard , nice guitar riffs , all combining to make this release a pleasant surprise . Well done boys !

Althought it's not the most original album ever released, it's very enjoyable with melodic, catchy hooklines and a good instrumental performance. I like it!

Solid, enjoyable AOR release. Angelo Grassi always reminds me of Go West's Peter Cox for some reason, especially on the opening cut 'Angel'. Definately worthy of repeat listens, even if it doesn't completely blow the mind.

I found the vocals very hard to understand on this disc and am surprised to see good words about him. He has a decent voice, but he's one of those vocalists with a very strong accent and he doesn't finish a lot of the words he sings, almost as if he's afraid to pronounce them wrong so he skips onto the next one to leave the listener thinking he might have finished correctly... but that aside this is very nice melodic rock / AOR. Lovely music, some great songs. Worth a decent price for sure.

Check out their follow up album "Blue" - a definite improvement especially in the vocal department and even stronger songs.

Wow both Eva's albums are pretty worth to have because more or less are in the same line musically talking, good songs and with that very nice voice of Mr Angelo Grassi that is ideal for the genre..."Angel" is such a great opener,"Blue Sky" is a catchy smoothie one,"Inside Out" also amazing..now if we are talking about my fave ones those have 2 be "The One","In Your Dreams" & "Too Late"..fans of the AOR will love this release...92/100
