This is CLASSIC EMN! These guys rocked! Steve was a very underrated guitarist. He had some great bluesy chops.

From: joe beaty Date: September 25, 2001 at 20:04
i saw them on their first album tour in charleston s.c. at THE FLYING DUTCHMAN AND GOT TO MEET THEM BACK STAGE. THESE GUYS ARE RELLY COOL.

From: TIM Date: April 24, 2002 at 5:47
I don't hear much about these guys, but this album rocked.

From: Desslar Date: April 24, 2002 at 12:26
Not all that good really. The ballad and the cover song are pretty good, but the rest is mediocre at best.

From: Sarracenia Date: May 19, 2002 at 7:09
Not the greatest album ever made, but it rocks. Sounds like a bunch of drunk teenagers jamming in a garage, which is probably what they were when they recorded it. I love the cover of "Long Haired Country Boy".

From: Drag-in-Bones Date: July 14, 2002 at 12:38
Screaming form the south with a violent, bluesy sound,(Blue grass riffs played so scrappy its hardly recognizable) and a punky energy that recalls the crush of early "Crue". "Every Mother's Nightmare" plays straight-forward and aggressive rock n roll with white-hot, shit kickin, boot stompin, pure intensity!!! This cd is heavy metal bliss!!!10 out of 10.

From: The Frost Date: July 14, 2002 at 12:46
Drag-in-Bones and I seen these guys in Denver at Bangles, talk about power and awsome sound "Every Mother's Nightmare" Kicks Ass! To bad that bar (Bangels) isen't still around, it was a damn meat market if you know what I mean.

From: jason (FA - Q) Date: July 27, 2002 at 22:26
I have this CD. I think that if this band had a better singer, better guitarist, better bass player, better drummer, better name, better sound, better record company, and a better record than they would have been a pretty good band. I really tried to like this one, but I just can't get into it.

From: jason (FA - Q) Date: August 21, 2002 at 22:44
I see that this band is labeled as a "glam" band but, I think of them as a "slease" band myself. This album to me is okay at best. Every Mother's Nightmare have recorded a live show at Newby's on August 17th 2002 in Memphis, TN. The sheduled release date for the live CD is September 17th. This is the first show after their last tour through Califoria, Ohio, Nevada, and Texas. If you love this band, be on the look out for this live album!

EMN------------ WHAT THE FUCK.......................................THEY ARE THE SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From: RichieRocker Date: September 10, 2002 at 21:02
These guys are balls to the wall, kick ass hard rock. Every song is solid, and there are some heavy rockers in this album. Rock fans! definatly look into this album it kicks ass!!!

From: jason (FA - Q) Date: September 11, 2002 at 22:26
I wouldn't go that far, Richie.

From: The Fizzy One Date: October 20, 2002 at 22:17
Picture what might have happened if Ratt or the Crue hailed from the south and played about twice as fast. Rick Ruhl is a non-lisping Pearcy with a bit better range and a serious twang. The FIzz Picks: 1, 5, 6, 7, 8.

From: Brian Date: October 24, 2002 at 19:56
Every Mother's Nightmare was great! This CD almost went gold. I have the Walls Come Down video, it takes me back to 1990, Around that time some bands were developing a harder edge like Spread Eagle To bad it wasn't allowed to continue after the grunge invasion.

From: David Date: March 28, 2003 at 3:08
"Love can Make you Blind" and several others kick fanny. Great CD. If anybody has it and would burn me a copy I have several of this genre for trade.

From: ROB GARCIA Date: January 16, 2004 at 15:42
very good album of kick ass hard rock,i would describe them as a pissed off skid row!.

From: RIKKY Date: July 19, 2004 at 12:26

From: ZORELLO Date: December 18, 2004 at 23:22
"To bad it wasn't allowed to continue after the grunge invasion"... YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, MY FRIEND. GRUNGE WAS (IS) LIKE A CANCER!

From: Tony Date: January 8, 2005 at 23:56
Great album that still sounds fresh 15 years later! Based solely on the music here to call these guys a "hair metal" band is a stretch. Has a cool sweaty "kicking out the jams in the garage" vibe to it. "Love Can Make You Blind" is right up there with any classic "power ballad" and I loved the drum sound on this disc. Saw these guys live not too long ago and they just ripped man. A disc that still gets the blood flowing and the foot tapping.

From: capdevilla Date: February 12, 2005 at 9:17
Great album !! Similar to Steelheart, Mötley Crue (singer like Vince Neil),and Skid Row!!

From: Geoff Date: March 1, 2005 at 5:29
If you like in your face hard rock n'roll, this is your album. Awesome sound - man I wish they carried this sound over to the next disc. This sound and those songs would just have been perfect!!! Either way, this is good solid hard rock. 'Walls come down' is a killer hard rocker and the ballad is nice enough, if not falling a little short come chorus time. Still, I must admit I like most the tracks here. Great for what it is.

From: memole Date: August 2, 2005 at 5:36
Rude,filthy and powerfull street'n'roll..yeah!!!

From: aMetalhead1966 Date: January 24, 2006 at 13:42
This is a monster of a record. These guys have style, groove, hooks, and the musical muscle to back it up....Killer!!! One of the Best releases of this genre EVER!!!A Must Have...10/10!!!

From: Lovedrive Date: July 31, 2006 at 15:30
A mi no me parece ninguna obra maestra.. de hecho no me ha gustado nada. 1000 veces mejores Motley Crue (son del palo)

From: Lovedrive Date: July 31, 2006 at 16:11
Long Haired Conutry Boy, es la q mas me ha gustado (quizás me he pasado un poco con mi comentario, jeje)

From: rick kerch vzla Date: January 19, 2007 at 20:51
Good album with a hard kickin' production!!!.Para el amigo Lovedrive:La diferencia entre los Motley y los Every's es que detras de los primeros hubo y pienso que en cierto modo aun tienen detras de ellos una maquinaria de promocion grande eso sin contar las historias de peli que sus integrantes han hecho a lo largo de su carrera de la cual siento admiracion y a veces risa por las circunstancias que la han rodeado.Peace, love and ROCK'N'ROLL!!!!.

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: January 6, 2009 at 16:44
This is best described as southern-fried, double-time hair-metal. Rick Ruhl sounds like Stephen Pearcy with a twang. I really like it personally, but I can also see where some would find it a bit boring. The overall speed, the heaviness lent by the downtuned guitars, and frequent country-ish tinges are what make it stand out for me. Favorites are "Hard To Hold," "Walls Come Down," and especially the Charlie Daniels Band cover. As I recall, "Love Can Make You Blind" got a fair amount of airplay over the winter of '90-'91, but isn't all that noteworthy.

From: metalmaniac777 Date: January 16, 2010 at 14:52
This is one of those bands that nearly everyone likes at least a little bit, but nobody ever lists as one of their favorites. In other words, a complete middle-of-the-heap band, good enough to get dusted off for a spin once in awhile, but not good enough to make you jump up and slap er momma. It's also a real nasty nightmare how badly this thing falls apart on the second half of the CD after such a solid, hard rockin' start. For every good track, there's a complete dud, making this listening experience as uneven as a sumo wrestler teeter-tottering with an anorexic gymnast. Still, it sports enough street-swaggerin' ballsiness to piss off your Mozart-loving neighbors and is definitely designed to be played LOUD. But in the end, it's just an acceptable hard rock album, nothing more, nothing less, and certainly not the stuff that metal dreams are made of.

Ok if you understand spanish my friends then my comment in 2007 explains some inportant things about comparissons with other bands and so on...now about the songs i'd say that this is like an edgier Hanoi Rocks kind of band..."Hard To Hold" just kills! ,"Ez Comes Ez Go","Walls Come Down","Listen Up" this one's another brutal song! & "Long Haired Country Boy" isn't that far from the aforementioned one ...in general lines if you the harder side of Glam, then get this album a.s.a.p.!!!...95/100

From: Dramarama Date: October 15, 2014 at 8:29
This was one of my go to cassette tapes in high school. After Headbanger's Ball drilled Love Can Make You Blind into my skull I bought the tape and was hooked. Loud, fast and sleazy, I was reminded of a Southern Faster Pussycat, but honestly this band was a pretty original take on a genre that was unfortunately winding down. Definitely recommend Long Haired Country Boy is the best country music cover by a hard rock band ever!
